Independent Bath & Renovations

Independent Bath installed a cultured marble walk-in shower (in place of a tub) with a swinging glass door, bidet attachment and wall space heater into an existing bathroom involving separate rooms for the toilet and bathtub areas. Two doors and one & 1/2 walls were removed to create one larger, beautiful room. As this bathroom was designed for a senior in his nineties, Cam, the owner, made excellent recommendations that work extremely well for this senior who uses a walker on occasion. The shower has multiple, attractive grab bars (that double as mini shelves!), & it is large enough for the movable bath chair. The glass door swings easily, which is critical when you have next to no strength. The fixtures & surfaces are beautifully installed, yet should be easy to clean and to keep clean. "Nasser" & "Ernesto" did most of the work and their attention to detail and professional execution makes every cent spent worth it. The room is both functional and beautiful. I highly recommend this business.

When they did our renos, they were so meticulous and responsive. That was about 10 years ago. We recently had a concern about the shower, They came within 2 days problem-solved, reassured and then completely re-did all the caulking. No charge! We were blown away and grateful.

We have a steam shower with door’s hinge broken. We contacted a few companies, none of them can repair or replace the door based on phone consult and or onsite checking. we finally contacted the independent Bath & renovation to see if they can replace it, if not, we had decided to remove the whole shower stall to install a new one. The independent Bath has very professional and courteous sales teams. The consultant Jordan suggested by the team is especially knowledgeable and recommend me to contact the City Glass to see if there is chance to get our older brand steam shower door fixed or replace rather than the whole renovation. It turned out the door hinge can be rebuilt in the City Glass. It saves us a lot financially plus time. We are truly impressed and moved by Jordan’s honesty and integrity.

Our bathrooms were showing their 50-year old age. We shopped around and were most comfortable with Independent. We like their step-by-step process to create a design that fits the space and our wants and needs. The staff are courteous and genuinely want to create spaces that we will enjoy for many years. Master bath was rarely used as a tub. Mother, who is mobility challenged, visits occasionally, so we decided to replace tub with walking shower, and modernize the room at the same time. Independent Bath came in to measure and quote, ordered custom materials, and did the job right the first time. Added significant resale value to the home as well, although we're not moving for a while.

I have used independent bath for several of our home renovations. We have had three bathrooms a bedroom and entire basement renovation, furnace and water systems and a mud room put onto the rear of our house done with this company. The staff are helpful and friendly and provide valuable advise. I never felt that they were trying to upscale me on products or jobs that needed to be done like I have had with other companies. They stand behind the quality of their work and have given me no arguments when On one occasion we had a faulty problem with tiles peeling. I contacted the company and they arrange a time that was convenient for me and fixed it right away. (Note: the tiles that started to peel was six months after the initial install and they still did not question it. Just fixed it).
My next renovation will be my kitchen and I have no doubt that when I am ready to do it will be through Independent bath

I had a condo as a rental unit, with hardwood floors in kitchen and hallways, that were constantly needing repair due to water damage.
After consulting with Independent Bath, (taking advantage of their many years of experience), I went with their suggestion of laying luxury vinyl plank on top.
The product was the perfect solution.
It looked great with the rest of the flooring in the unit, the installation was done quickly (with minimal disturbance to my tenant)!
I really appreciated their attention to detail (such care taken with reinstalling the baseboards!) and how neat and tidy everything was kept.
