When we had our home insurance renewed we were told that we would have to have a protective barrier put in place to ensure that our outside oil tank would not be hit by a car driving into our driveway. We didn't know what to put there but they told us it had to be something that was structurally sound. We had seen these columns used in parking lots but never around oil tanks. We started calling around and finally we found Island Concrete Products. They came to our home and gave us an estimate on what it would cost and what they would have to do. We contacted our insurance agent to make sure that this is what they wanted before we had the work done. They approved it so we went ahead and had them installed. They don't take away from the appearance of our home and our friends who have had to have this done have had them do the job. One thing we know for sure is that a car will never be able to get near to our oil tank to cause it any damage. Peace of mind and a job well done.
