I wasn't told they had sealed up every vent in my attic thus enabling my roof shingles to bake. I've had to replace the roof shingles. Roofers and building inspectors were shocked that GNI had completely sealed my attic. GNI says its what they call "Hot Attic". They refused to refund any portion of the $14,000 I paid for the insulation so I could put it towards the new roof shingles. BEWARE, they don't tell you your attic will be completely sealed and you need air flow or else be prepared to replace your roof shingles every few years. GNI took no responsibility at all. They've taken advantage of a senior woman to line their pockets. Do your research and ask your local building department about completely sealing off a roof before you purchase spray foam from GNI. Lesson learned - STAY AWAY FROM GREAT NORTHERN INSULATION!!!
