Paul Stawecki arrived at the specified time. He was courteous and informative. He solved an annoying problem as our thermostat was changed to Farenheit, he changed it back to Celsius. He explained the status of our AC unit.

Service tech Adam Rivera provide top notch professional service. From his arrival, customer input, problem inspection, and then corrective action. His goal was to truly fix the problem. His work was excellent, job Well Done and a very happy customer. Would highly recommend Adam and the Francis Team.

Adam Riera did an excellent job working in our home. He was so thorough and worked very hard and efficiently. He explained everything very well. He also was kind to my mean, constantly-barking chihuahua!

Our A/C problem was addressed by Tim Wong. I was impressed with his systematic and professional approach to solving the issue. He was extremely personable and clear in his communications with owner. He confirmed no leaks - clear directions for the matter to be addressed under A/C warranty for the 3 year old unit. Thanks Tim.

As a follow-up to below review: Terry called & came over this morning. He inspected my screen door, went out & purchased missing pin & quickly repaired my door :) He also gave me a free maintenance service. He was VERY quick to remedy issue. I am very pleased that my screen door is working properly again & thrilled with the free maintenance service. I really only expected my screen door to be repaired! Thanks Terry!

I had a new air conditioning unit installed on July 20, 2018 by Mike D. & Kyle E. from the Merivale Road location in Ottawa. Both installers were very professional & polite. They seem to have done a good job on the installation as my home is nice & cool in this horrible humidity!
I do have one complaint though. Immediately after they left my home, I noticed that my screen door would no longer stay closed. Upon closer inspection, I found there was a piece missing/broken off at the top of the door. My screen door closed fine when I let the installers in so clearly it happened one of the many times when they were going in & out of my home. Neither of them bothered to tell me about this & the missing piece was nowhere in sight so it had clearly been taken by one of them in the attempt to hide the fact that they had broken my door! Although my screen door is old & battered & I have already bought a new one to replace it, I will not being doing this for at least a month as I am waiting for my siding & roof replacement to be completed so it will not be damaged. This means I have at least a month with a screen door which will not stay latched closed & blows wide open in the wind! I do pet sitting & am fully booked to mid-September. Having my screen door not latch creates an unsafe environment for the dogs I am watching as when I answer the door or leave the house, they could easily get out if I am not really careful. It also means I cannot have my front door open to let in fresh air in the morning when it is cooler outside.
I am very annoyed that this happened for obvious reasons. I feel I should be compensated in some way.
I look forward to hearing back from someone very soon about this issue.

Three years ago we had Francis Home Environment install a new furnace and air conditioner and have had regular maintenance performed on them ever since.
I called Francis Home Environment Saturday morning after we noticed that our air conditioner had stopped working. They promised to have someone out to look at it as soon as possible and they were booking appointments for 7pm but would send someone as soon as they were available. The service technician, Tim Wong arrived in the afternoon and quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty pressure switch. He had to order the switch and said I would be contacted to arrange an installation date. Francis Home Environment called me this morning (Monday) and we agreed to have the repairs completed today between 1 & 3pm. Tim Wong arrived as scheduled, installed the new switch, tested it and had our air conditioner up and running in no time. Tim was quick, thorough and answered all of our questions. I would recommend Francis Home Environment to anyone looking for air conditioning service.
All work was completed free under our extended warranty.

Excellent service (as always) from Francis Home Env. We were called to schedule the maintenance at our convenience. Paul Stawecki arrived early, did the work quickly and efficiently while explaining what he was doing and why. No issues were found but a few recommendations were given on how to ensure the AC would continue to work optimally and how to manage the air flow in the home. At the end of the work a clear bill was given and maintenance for the furnace scheduled for later in the year.
