Reno Painting

Very dissatisfied with workmanship, especially the deck. Painted last fall and totally pealing since spring. Tried getting them to come back and they just supplied us with more paint, said it was the fault of the paint. We believe they painted the deck when it was wet. What a waste of time and money, would have looked better left unpainted than the mess it is in now. Also lots of paint splatters on screens and windows. Would not recommend this company at all. We spent hours just on the stairs alone power washing so we could repaint. But its a large deck, so needless to say it is still not repainted.

HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE. I found this company to be neither professional or ethical. I made the grievous error of paying in full in cash before fully inspecting their work. They were careless beyond words. Paint spilt on screens, floors and windows. Very poor workmanship. Cut lines at ceiling amateurish at best, incomplete coverage where walls meet ceiling, paint drips on walls and door frames, wall paint on ceiling and the list goes on. They did come back to inspect when I called end of November to let them know their were problems and they did promise to return shortly after Christmas to finish the job but NO SHOW. When I called again at the end of January to find out why they had not returned Heather immediately became confrontational and argumentative. She informed me they did not have time to return until April.
NOT ACCEPTABLE. Who makes a customer wait 5 months to complete a job that has been paid in full. I repeatedly requested a firm return date to no avail.

I can’t describe how disappointed and upset I am with their work. Great job on ceiling tho, everything else was sloppy and incomplete. Found many spots on my cabinets where they got paint on it, constantly scraping splatter off wood floors. Mixed up room colours, but easily fixed by repainting it. Touch up’s were done using the wrong paint colour so you can see the touch up ( I used 3 different colours of white in my house) Door and trim paint disaster. Only painted the front of the trim not the sides and only did one coat. Doors painting, my hinges were black, reassured me they would be covered up, paint all over them. Asked them to come back to redo the trim properly but when it came time for them to return the owner fell ill in July. After a lengthy recovery and was advised they were back to work I asked when they could come back to do the trim work. Did not return my calls or texts. Had to call from my daughters phone to get them to answer and when they did I was told they wouldn’t come back to fix / finish the job and they weren’t in business anymore. Asked why they couldn’t have returned my multiple calls and texts and was told they weren’t returning anyone’s. Interesting to see they are still in business. I have so many photos of all the sloppiness, it’s too bad I can only add one.

We went with Reno Painting to paint our apartment. We should've gone with someone else. When they "finished" the job, there was paint in the bathtub, on the floor, on the windows, on the fridge, splatters of paint on the walls (not smoothed out), and bubbling EVERYWHERE. They also missed spots all over the place leaving the previous colour exposed and painted over light switches, fixtures, and outlets. They also refused to provide us with a detailed breakdown of the cost of the job.

If we had known this is the quality of work to expect we definitely would have hired someone else. Save your money and stay away from Reno Painting.

Very disappointed .Did only 3 hours of prep work on rust metal pool fence When they sprayed the fence the were in a big rush[4 hours max to paint] and over sprayed large areas of concrete. Also dripped large amounts of paint on the concrete. When I pointed this out he said this is Direct to Metal paint and the rain will wash it of the cement..I spent 6-7 hours with a power washer and got a lot off but a lot will be there forever.I spent more time on this than they did. The pain job is bad as well-- many runs missed spots etc WATCH OUT FOR RENO

We called Reno Painting to come quote us to remove popcorn ceiling, and paint the walls and trim in our small guest room.They were great accommodating our schedule for a quote. Our home is plaster which shows everything so we ended up going with an all new ceiling. They completely re-dry walled and finished our ceiling perfectly. The new white paint looks so fresh, crisp, and clean. They lent us a colour book to choose a colour for our walls. They suggested grey because it is a popular colour right now and is very neutral. The grey colour we choose for the walls brightens and opens the room up so nicely. We are completely happy with the way it turned out. They gave a reasonable price and finished the job in efficient time.

I hired Reno Painting to paint my kitchen cupboards and living room. We also had them do California knock down on our ceilings. This was the best choice we’ve made. Our ceilings are beautiful. The kitchen cupboards are old to begin with but they are 100% better. They look great. Gave them such a face lift. Our quote was exactly what they said it would be. They took their time to go over the process of steps they needed take to do our cupboards. We are completely happy with the service we received and will more then definitely hire them again in the spring to paint our exterior.

We hired Reno painting to paint the exterior of our house last year and it looks fantastic they wher sure to leave no mess behind and The service we received was exceptional very satisfied customer I would 100% recommend Reno painting for your next project

RENO PAINTING DID A EXCELLENT JOB ,WENT ABOVE ARE EXPECTATIONST. RENO DID A AGREEMENT WITH US AND DID ALL AS AGREED.THEY EVEN DID SOME EXTRA WORK AT NO CHARGE TO US. MY WIFE AND I WERE VERY HAPPY.THEY HELPED US PICK COLORS AND ACENT WALLS. LOOKS FANTASTIC. WILL HAVE THEM BACK IN THE SPRING TO DO OUR EXTERIOR FOR SURE.

We were excited to have our 3 bedroom bungalow cottage interior painted and chose Reno Painting who were on time and organized but that was it. The quality of painting was extremely poor, missed the bottom of base board, paint splatter on fridge and comforter, made a mess of our tub where they cleaned their brushes/rollers, paint missed on trim, painted door hinges, paint on widows and missed painting the top of wall 6 inches below ceiling. Rob said he would patch small holes in drywall and drywall imperfections which he talks a good game but just painted over it. When we called Heather to inquire if they painted or sub contracted it out, they said they did. Heather was rude, condescending and said " if " she came back she would charge us. I am not sure what was more shocking, the painting or how they responded to our concerns. We have dealt with a lot of great contractors over the years in Orillia but got hurt badly on this one.
