Ermen Plumbing & Heating Ltd

Called Ermen on a Friday night as we came home to a clogged drain, both my husband & I work all day. They said it would be an automatic $400 charged to our credit card before they would even start the work. They charge time-and-a-half for after hours calls. They used the auger & charged an additional $80 rental for a tool that they own.
The total bill came to $575.00 for a 2-hour service call. I called the office & spoke to Heather. I explained that I only make $14.75/hour. I was hoping to negotiate the bill a little lower as they charged $200/hour labour & I will reiterate that I only make $14.75/hour.
They would not even consider negotiating the bill. Also, the plumber got his nose out of joint when we said we could re-install the toilet ourselves. I am not sure why he would think we would want him to do it at $200/hour?!

We recently used Ermen plumbing for a service call. It was easy to book and the service was excellent. Matt was friendly, efficient and on time. So much easier than anticipated. Will definitely call them again and would recommend them.

Do not call Ermen. I Was charged $522 to unplug a drain! Called earlier in morning to ask for hourly rate, was told $86/hour, $70 more if auger was used. 1 person normally can do that job, Ermen sends 2. They stayed for 1h33 minutes and I was charged for 2 hours $276. I called owner. Told him I felt I was over charged on labor and that I wasn’t told it would take 2 person, his answer.Did you ask how many people it would take? As for the 2 hours of labor well for Ermen 1h33 minutes is 2 hours.

The service was good. The staff(plumber) was not the most friendly but the service received from the Compnay itself was great. The plumber tried to charge me extra for a 15 min job because it was passed 4.
