We initially had a very good relationship with this company. At first they provided us with a generic blueprint that we were unhappy with, but were accommodating to our wants of a unique plan. It was a modern plan that they said repeatedly could be done. We worked together for over a year on the plan/details. A YEAR! When ground was about to be broken however, they quit the job and said that they weren't able to build the house after all. This is a very deceptive company. They sent us a bill just before telling us that they would not continue with us. They took our money and left us with no house, and wasted time. They are not the company they claim to be, and certainly not worth investing your hard earned money in.

Excellent customer service and amazing attention to detail. A pleasure to work with. We are thrilled with our design and can't wait to be living in our new Habitat house.

We were very happy with our new home and our experience with Peter Amerongen and Habitat Studio. They are a highly professional group who made the task of homebuilding relatively painless and actually quite enjoyable. WE would highly recommend them to anyone. They build good quality, beautiful, and smart, homes.

I love our home! It's built by one of the best "green builders" in the city. I would say they are the pre-eminent, most advanced green builder in the city! They are easy to work with and very attentive to our needs. They are always trying to save us money, but they don't skimp on the quality of materials used. They use top of the line, high quality materials. I would highly recommend them to others.

I like the way this company works: you pay what they pay plus a project management fee. Everything is up front & supported by invoice photocopies. Changes to the plan can be made on the fly without undue financial hardship. They are honest, straightforward, and give great customer service.
