Finishing a basement rail 16 years later. Matt at Artistic was extremely helpful in locating all the newels and spindles required. I thought I would never find the material to match, but Matt was invaluable in outsourcing. He never gave up! Thanks for making my project a complete success!

We bought an older home and are doing major renos. Artistic Stairs was recommended to us for replacing the bannister. They were horrible from the start. Had a hard time getting them to come do a measure, then had to call a few times to get the quote. The person they sent out to install was the worst! He left the house a mess every time he left. He was here for 1 hr the first day. He just made up his own hours. We told him that the floors going in were laminate so the bannister needed to be higher for them to go underneath. He never did it. The bannister is beautiful, I'll give them that much, but it's not done how I wanted. We couldn't put hardly any nosing on the stair because of how he did them and had to cut into what little nosing there is to go around his work. That part looks horrible. Now they won't come back and fix it. Won't return my calls. $7000 may not be a big amount of money to them, but it's huge to us.

We spent a lot of time with them to decide on the spiral stair case that is now installed in our home. They are the only company that is dealing with Spiral Staircases in Alberta. The team of people that came to install the staircase was impressive. We were almost like family by the time that it was all done. It took about a month to install. The only problem was that I was left with the task of painting it once it was installed.

Artistic stair did the rails for our stairs. Took the time to come out and help us select the design then came out twice to meet with us to go over the things we didn't understand. Rail looks great and they were easy to work with. Would use them again

We love the work we got done in the summer of 2012, great railings for our outside decks and patio. We would like to recommend this company for price and quality.

In 2007 we built a new home in North Edmonton and Artistic Stairs supplied the railings, stairs and associated hardward etc. They did a wonderful job and their workman cleaned up totally after the project. I would highly recommend Artistic for any work that has to be done. They are excellent.

Artistic Stairs installed the continuous railings in our house from the basement to the second floor. We had wood spindles and curved landings. We are very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of work. We especially like the railing on the curved landing. Each spindle was placed precisely and it looks very impressive. All the pieces of wood join seamlessly throughout the railing. Artistic Stairs was recommended by our builder and we have no regrets. We strongly recommend them. The total amount for their work was on the pricey side, but overall they did an excellent job.
