Wood & Energy Store

We installed two gas fireplaces from the Wood&Energy Store. Install of one was good. Install of second had a gas leak that took 3-4 weeks to repair to order the part.

Follow up service awhile after install was abysmal. Took 4 days of four calls to contact service department. They did not return phone calls after messages left the first 3 calls. Final made contact to service rep who was demeaning, sarcastic and rude. Expect $220 just to show up at the door and then would add cost of repair. Do not use them!

I got sick of the dirty wood burning fireplace so I called the Wood & Energy Store to see if they could install a gas insert. They came over and said it would not be a problem.
The installers came out and installed a Chaska 25 insert. (I wanted a Chaska 29, but it was to big to fit in my fireplace. They could have made it fit but I decided to go with the Chaska 25) The installers were very professional, informative, and clean. They had it installed in no time. They even installed a gas line to the deck. I hooked a new natural gas barbecue up and it works great.
I am glad I went with the Chaska 25 as it works and looks great.

I bought a pellet stove from don and his staff and was very impressed with the customer service at the point of sale. After a short time the stove gave me trouble and the service dept took care of it promptly and there was a follow up call to make sure it worked properly. Can't say enough about these people and there service

I went in to the Wood and Energy store in the West end looking for a wood stove for my cabin and a fireplace for my new house that was being built. I met Stevie who took the time to help me out and answer my questions (and i had quite a few). He helped me choose the perfect fireplace for my home, and there are a lot of fireplaces to choose from. He also took the time to show me the differences between wood stoves and helped me choose the right stove for our cabin, this thing heats up the place nicely. The installers were also fantastic, they made sure to keep things clean and not make a mess or our new laminate in the cabin, thanks guys!

I would definitely recommend the Wood and Energy store in the West end to anyone who wants a place that will help them out and make them feel like their at home, great service and great installation. I will be coming back for sure!

From beginning to end we had a lot of difficulties with Wood and Energy. Steve was our salesguy and we were constantly playing telephone tag and our calls we not always returned. We waited 5 months for our stove to come in. Then, when they installed it they forgot the cap and the fan! They said they would be back in a couple days to put the cap on and it took over a week and a half, in which it rained twice and our roof started leaking. Then, when we phoned to see when the cap was coming and ask for some reimbursement we were sent here-and-there between managers and other staff. The fan still isn't installed. Very unhappy although the stove is beautiful.

The team at the Wood and Energy Store was great. Their experience and fast service enabled me to find the fireplace I wanted. Their install was on time and they were very tidy when completed. The job overall improved the value of the house greatly. thanks

The salesperson was very honest and helpful. He was very knowledgeable about product as well. The installer was great as well, and we haven't had any problems or concerns with the product!

Purchased a wood stove complete with install. The salesperson was very nice and knowledgeable. After the sale and install there was no follow up to see if we were satisfied.
We had some problems with minor damage during the install. Also , the contractor they recommended for the removal of an old fireplace and rennovate for the install was quite disappointing.
I would not recommend either one to any daily or friends.

We purchased a gas fireplace for our new home. We found that they were very knowledgeable, and professional to deal with. We had some issues with the installation - which was taken care of quickly. I would definitely recommend this company!
