We hired Detailed Drywall to drywall our basement development in 2010. Timing was very important to us as we needed the basement completed for Christmas. We communicated our timing to the salesman and he indicated that they could meet our time lines. They were late getting started and eventually sent an individual who had not drywalled in years!! He was well intentioned but had no idea what he was doing so he worked very slowly. He also worked very short days. My husband ended up doing over 50% of the drywall and still the drywalling was more than 7 days late. Even though my husband provided over 50% of the labour they still charged us full price. I would never recommend this company.

I was surprised to see a bad review from you. I have never heard about a problem on your job site and I have tried to contact you since I read this review. To date you have not responded. I looked at the job file from your project and I see that we started your job November 29, 2010 and finished December 14, 2010 and you paid for the job in full. From your complaint you say we didn't get your basement done in time for Christmas. Also the drywaller who worked on your site still works for the company and I have never had a complaint about him. I am a little confused why you never contacted the office about your issues even though you had the opportunity when our office manager talked to you in February about paying your invoice. I do not like having an unhappy customer and would like to resolve this with you please call me Lorne (403)291-7021.
