a/c maintenance and installation of automatic condensation drain pump

We called High Efficiency Cooling & Healting Inc. for a/c maintenance. Liam came and did maintenance on the a/c. We had drain pipe blockages, so Liam explained clearly the benefit of installing an automatic condensation drain pump. We had this installed and we also signed up for an a/c & furnace maintenance plan. Thanks Liam!

Low efficiency communication

This is my second time contacting this company for AC repairment. The first job was somewhat satisfying. When another unit of AC broke down, I came to them again.

First of all, on their website, it clearly stated that they serve Toronto. But the scheduling staff said there are limited appointment dates for the downtown area.

On the inspection appointment day, I kept my phone handy until 6 pm Toronto time but never got a callback from the technician. I immediately emailed requesting a update by email, which is reponded with "will do" on the next day. After that, I waited for another three business day and called their number again. I was then informed that I will get a callback from the technical apartment but there is no guarantee of when they would callback. Since I was in a different timezone, I told the staff to write an email instead of calling back if it doesn't happen on the same day.

And, six business days past the appointment, I still didn't get a word about the inspection result. Although the inspection result and quote finally came in my mailbox on the 7th day, I couldn't keep my tenant waiting . At the time, I've already switched to another company who not only inspected the problem on the next day and fixed the problem within a week.

Air Conditioner Installation

Sales Rep Jamie came out on Sunday to meet and size up the correct Air Conditioner condenser unit to my house and discuss pricing. He booked me an install date within 1 week which I was happy about.
HVAC technician Harpreet showed up around 10am on Friday and spent 3 hours at my home doing the A/C change out. He was polite, courteous, and answered all my questions about the process. He made sure to clean up after installation was complete.
After he left I noticed there was water leaking from the Evaporator coil,
called him back and came that same evening to address the issue. Turns out had forgotten to close 1 of the units (2) drain ports. He fixed it and it no longer leaks. Overall I'm pleased with the service High Efficiency Heating and Cooling provided and would recommend them. However, just ensure to double check finished work before leaving jobsite.

AC tune-up
