Barbecues Galore

We picked Barbecues Galore because of the Valor Product line which seemed to be the best of the bunch for our needs. The guys in the showroom were helpful in explaining the different options available, coming up with a rough quote and scheduling the appointment for the estimator to come out. A couple of weeks later, the estimator came out to check that we could actually do what we wanted to do, firm up the price and schedule the install. The estimator, Les I think?, was very knowledgable and friendly and confirmed everything that would be required. Within a couple of weeks of us paying the downpayment the install crew were out and did a great job, completing it within the day. We're extremely happy with the fireplace we selected, the heat it throws out is amazing and it looks beautiful, just need to get the rest of the fireplace, mantle, etc. renovated to do it justice.

Good pricing and selections for different budgets. Knowledgable staff and not pressure to make a purchase. They knew my budget and allowed me to buy within it. Very happy with purchase. Would reccomend them.

I recently purchased a Napolean BBQ grill from this company and the staff was extremely knowledgable and helpful. I wasn't pressured in purchasing anything beyond was I needed for my family. After speaking to Dave I knew what I needed in a BBQ and decided to purchase a Napolean grill and haven't looked back. Well Done BBQ Galore!

I had heard good things about Barbecues Galore and so went to take a look and hopefully pick out a new BBQ. I was browsing for a while before I was offered assistance - and I didn't find the assistance to be very helpful. The person that was advising me didn't seem too sure about any of my questions and really didn't help me at all. However, I went ahead and selected a BBQ for purchase. I used the assembly service and had a 7 day wait to pick it up - this was fine. I asked if it was ok to pick it up myself, and not pay the $100 delivery charge. I was assured this was not a problem. When I went to pick up a week later, all was smooth, 2 guys helped to load into my car and off I went. When I unloaded, a piece of the BBQ fell off, and it seemed that the door had not been assembled properly. When I contacted them to report this, I was told it was because I had used my own transport and they advised against this. I told them that I had specifically asked about this and had been assured it was fine to transport myself. In the end, they offered repairs to the BBQ, and it has been a really great BBQ, no complaints at all - however not so happy with the services provided.

We selected Barbecues Galore for our living room fireplace because of how the Valor fireplace product met our needs and space requirements. The price of the product and install was more reasonable than the other quote that we received and we decided to go ahead. It's been a longer process than we think necessary to have the fireplace installed (about 2 months between our deposit and actually install date). We finally have an install date, however the process was unnecessarily tedious in terms of confirming our product specs, talking with different people, coordinating the design and the framing, and the install. While we believe the end product and design will be good, the process in dealing with the company left us feeling like our project was being handled and put together on the fly. Ultimately, we feel the process could be improved and more efficiently handled than it was.

Great people - they are so knowledgeable about all their products. the staff are very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend them to anyone including our best friends & family.

We had Woods install a gas insert fireplace into our existing wood burning fireplace and it was a great experience!
Lots of options and advice from the salesman, Rosco, he was wonderful, a real pleasure. And then the install techs were great as well: very knowledgeable and tidy. And the cost was great. Very reasonable.
This company was referred to me by a friend and now I will refer them to everyone I can. Can't wait to reno our basement, so I can call them in to install another gas fireplace...LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!

We moved into a house where the gas fireplace did not work. Barbeques Galore came out to inspect the problem and ordered parts. Two months later we still did not have our fireplace repaired. After several weeks' phone calls to try to track down what was going on, they finally came out again... to discover the part they had gotten in was the wrong part. It took another six weeks to get the right part in and have it fixed. It does work now but it took so long, we were not thrilled with the service. The individual technicians were very tidy and professional. They also sprayed the back of the insert each time they came with heat proof black paint. However, a few weeks would go by and the paint would flake off (we did heat cure it as recommended). Now, our insert is covered in peeling black paint.

Time and time again, this place continues to amaze me. I have never walked into that store and not find what I'm looking for. They have everything! The staff are amazing, they always seem to know the answer to everything and when in doubt, they will find the answer for you immediately. The only downfall to this place is they are pretty expensive; however, sometimes you can what you pay for.

we walked in to look for a replacememt portable BBQ. We were met by very knowledgable staff who gave us good information to assist us with making our decision. We chose the infared bbq and have not regretted putting out the extra dollars for it.
