Rushed and not willing to answer questions

Originally purchased beam central vacuum cleaner in August of 2018. When they arrived the previous owners had the basement developed and had 2 ports for the central vacuum to be connected for my living room and the master bedroom, I wanted to cancel the order cuz it would be very inconvenient for me to use the central vacuum efficiently as I have shoulder problems and felt it would be A lot of work to gather the hose and have an extension added to be able to reach the master bedroom and the walk-in closet at the back of the en suite bathroom. The person who came to my house to “hang” the vacuum convinced me to go ahead with the purchase which I wasn’t comfortable with to begin with. Shortly after I tried using the vacuum and as I figured it was very inconvenient to use and even with a longer extension that he suggested I needed it doesn’t reach into the closet very good so I can’t vacuum the closet very well, I have to extend the hose as far as I can and feel this will cause damage to the hose over time. The quality is extremely cheap of the beam central vacuum that I am very disappointed about as I had a beam central vacuum cleaner In the past an older one and it was very durable. This one I hardly use due to the inconvenience of it and we also purchased a roomba to use on the main level where it gets the dirtiest as there is only myself and my husband live as my children have grown up and moved, also my husband is only home for 5 days every 2 weeks as he works out of Calgary. So for the few times I use the vacuum it’s used in the bonus room and the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs where there is carpeting. The handle of the vacuum cracked along where it joins together. When I went to pick up the vacuum I asked the store manager Ali if the warranty was 2 years since it had been replaced and he responded that it would be from the time I purchased the vacuum. He also responded rudely that it wasn’t him who made the decision that it was the company who decided. I replied I understand that but the warranty isn’t clear in the paperwork I received when I purchased and would like to know the warranty for future reference as we didn’t have very good luck with the purchase and would like to know if it happened again if it would be covered or not. He was supposed to further investigate for me but when another customer approached he asked if they were paying cash and was going to stop serving me and go to them, but finished collecting from me but didn’t answer my questions about the warranty. Ali seems to be easily distracted and doesn’t give very good customer service
