We are extremely pleased with the quality of the railings and the ease of working with Oliver. We went to their show room to pick out the style of railing and they measured the porch the same day. The railing were fabricated (all custom made) and installed on time. Dufferin Iron was able to complete the job faster and more economical than other railing companies. Thank you. Shopping around can be stressful but as soon as I spoke to Oliver, I knew instantly who I was going to go with! No only was he extremely friendly, honest, and flexible but very very fair in pricing. The one thing I really liked is that he was not able to give us a definite EXACT start date because of how busy they were and possible weather disruptions. But the reason I liked that he didn't tell us a specific day is because I knew he was honest. Turns out that the day I contacted him to get a better idea of a start date, that SAME morning a knock on the door and it's them!!! He decided to somewhat surprise us since it was smaller job and was able to do it. Some people may not like that but i sure did!!!!! The only thing is I didn't have the funds ready at the time so he was totally cool with as soon as I had them we can do the exchange. Overall, I would definitely contact Oliver back ANYTIME! Very very very impressed with them and the way they were honest and up front about pricing, style, and double checking exactly what we wanted. Even the guys that installed the iron rail were so nice and patient while I had to move cars and try to get my 2 active little girls out the door in the morning. Thank You again Oliver and company! amazing job and very very impressed!!!

Having done extensive exterior work to our home last year, the finishing touch to complete our backyard was to have a railing installed on our back porch. We shopped around for a railing company that would be able to meet our needs in an efficient and economical manner. Dufferin Iron & Railings has surpassed all our expectations. Oliver was quick to meet with us and listen to our needs. We were impressed with Oliver’s level of knowledge and skill, and most importantly turnaround. Oliver was very knowledgeable about the different types railings suitable for us and answered all our questions. We received a quote and drawing from Oliver the very next day. Once we gave our go ahead, Oliver promised to have it complete by a certain date and actually delivered before this date. The installation team was very careful not to damage our new porch and completed work over the course of 2 days, only because it started to rain on the first day. We plan to re-do our front porch next year and will definitely be using the services of Dufferin Iron & Railings again for this project. We highly recommend this company to anyone.

I'm very happy with Dufferin Iron. I have old aluminum railing on the porch and wanted new iron rails on the steps. I found Oliver to be extremely professional and competent and he was able to guide me exactly to a railing design that would both be functional and would complement the existing old aluminum rails. He was able to make the design and put up the rails with as little work/effort from me as possible. The end result was perfect. We are very happy with how it all turned out and would recommend Oliver to anybody.

We were in the midst of selling our house but discovered days before closing, that we HAD to have a railing installed PRIOR to closing in order to do so. We called Denis (who had been highly recommended) and in spite of his very busy schedule, he managed to design and install our railing within a week!! The end product was made beautifully and suits the style of our heritage house very nicely! Needless to say we were thrilled to have the perfect product installed in record time and would recommend using Dufferin Iron and railings to anyone who wants top quality and delivery!!

We were looking for iron railings for our house for 2 years. We live in Oshawa and were only able to find vinyl or wooden options locally. I found Dufferin Iron company through homestars.com. We were very satisfied with their work. Very reasonable price, no fuss about coming to Oshawa, no surprise "add-ons". Highly recommend.

The selection and workmanship at Dufferin Iron is outstanding. They have a great website with a huge selection of stylish railings. After emailing Oliver with my selections, he came over and personally measured my retaining wall and stairs to get the exact dimensions for the new railings. He was very professional, helpful and knowledgable. The railings were beautifully crafted and arrived on time. They were professionally installed and they look amazing. The installers did a great job too, very friendly and cleaned up nicely after the job was completed. If only every job would go this smoothly!
