Some water leaked into my basement at one spot during spring thaw. Exterior waterproofing had been done over 25 yrs previously. Umbrella was recommended by a neighbour. Explained options, recommended solution. Two days to excavate, scope and repair weeping tile and renew parging and waterproofing on wall. Quick and very neat. No recurrence of problem. Highly recommended.

A basement waterproofing repair required a trench in my neighbour's driveway which needed patching, including both resetting interlocking stones and ashphalt patch. Daniel gave me a quote which included a subcontract for the interlocking and scheduled the work quickly. He came by to check on the interlocking work, then his crew finished up with the paving to fit my schedule. Excellent job, great to work with and both my neighbour and I are pleased with the result.

My 30+ year old asphalt driveway needed replacing. Mancuso was recommended by the excellent contractor who had rebuilt my garage. (Turns out they had done the original - so long ago I had forgotten). My big issue is drainage. With an upslope ravine at the back of the yard, all rain and snowmelt must flow down the driveway to the street, but the slope is minimal. Keeping water away from the adjacent house walls is also essential. These requirements were discussed, the gravel bed raked to the required dished profile and left to settle, and discussed again in detail during the relaying of the paving. Some of the interlocking stone front walk had been displaced during removal of the old blacktop. This was all reset during the paving process. The result - perfect. And at a great price.

I contacted Jose this summer to add an outdoor circuit during patio construction. He found there was no expansion room on my service panel, so he planned where to bury conduit for later connection. When my contractor dug the trench, Jose came immediately to lay the conduit which meant no delays to the yard construction. We agreed to leave the additional work until fall. Then my insurance company sprang a surprise: without prior warning, they gave 30 days notice of policy cancellation due to having more than 10% knob and tube wiring. Emergency consultation with Jose resulted in a 5 day blitz to replace the K&T wiring, install a new service panel plus complete the backyard work. All inspected, approved and the necessary paperwork sent to the insurer to forestall policy cancellation. With a mostly finished basement restricting access, the K&T replacement was almost all done from the attic so damage was kept to a minimum. Excellent work! Many thanks to Jose and his associates.

It was very helpful working with Oliver on options to help us select a railing style that would complement our renovated porch. The result is a beautiful railing, neatly installed, at an excellent price.
