The guys who did the vacuum were great and answered all of my questions. They let me know when they were done and I checked out the job. The guys that came for the blow in were also good and did a good job. Thank you for adding a new and improved bathroom vent and securing it to an existing roof vent instead of running it to the soffit. Nice job securing insulation to the hatch which I did not have previously. Some constructive criticism (but I'm not complaining): 1) Blow in team did not let me know when they were finished. I would have liked to check out the work and ask some questions. 2) Garage (where attic hatch is located) had insulation on the floor. Clean up could have been improved.

Question: R60 = 16inches of insulation per the label left inside the hatch. I measured 16in shortly after the guys left. But won't that sink after 24hours?

On our recently purchased home, we knew we needed insulation, but how little we actually had was unknown. Less than 3" throughout the attic and some areas missing altogether. We called in three companies for quotes and went with the friendliest, most helpful and knowledgeable of the three. Also, the middle of the three as pricing goes.
Bryan came out for the initial inspection and quote. He quickly noted the lack of insulation, the areas missing and that the bathroom was not exhausted correctly. With thermal imagery we saw a great deal of heat entering the breezeway wall and cool coming in the crawlspace.

We hired Reitzel as soon as possible and had them fix it all up. The "Joshes" arrived on time, explained the process to spray the crawl space and the ensure we had the 24 hour rule understood. A couple hours after completion, team 2 showed up to blow in the attic and breezeway.

Both teams were professional, polite and cleaned up any mess behind them. We had an energy audit done prior to the insulation added and see the improvement.
They also handled everything to ensure we received our rebates from the government.

I recently had my basement spray foamed. And further, the mould in the attic taken care of, and they were able to vent the bathroom vent directly to the outside and add additional soffit channels. Bob Lambo was the Reitzel representative that came to our home to give us an estimate on upgrading our attic insulation. He was informative, professional and very friendly. Reitzel Insulation is a grade A company with many years of experience. A knowledgeable sales team combined with good installers. I had a difficult older attic to insulate and the foam truck crew worked magic. They created a great solid foam vapor barrier despite the cramped conditions and difficult access. The cellulose insulation job met basic expectations. My renovated attic is proof of quality workmanship.

My experience with Reitzel insulation was nothing less than perfect. Bob Lambo was great. He stopped by our place and gave the low down on attic insulation, but didn't stop there.
