Lakeview Floors has patiently presented us with flooring options and we now have our lovely new floors and baseboards. All the staff and contractors have been great to work with. We would heartily recommend Lakeview Floors!

It isn't very often that you do business with someone in the home renos business without feeling ticked off with them for one reason or another at the end of the project. I am very pleased that Lakeview Floors is one of the few I've been satisfied with from start to finish.

Mat Thompson was my primary contact. He patiently answered the many questions I sent him by email before the project got started, and was always prompt about it, too. He was friendly and professional throughout.

There was an oversight, and Mat addressed it quickly, offering to do the work afterwards as originally discussed, or an alternative which they provided at no charge. That's the hallmark of great customer service: it's not that your business never makes mistakes, but that you address it quickly and professionally and that is exactly what Mat did.

We did have a quote from someone else for less money, but the other company was slow about getting it to me, and when I spoke to my contact on the phone he confused me with a different customer and it took a minute or two to get our discussion back on track. I just had a bad feeling it would end up being something we'd be sorry about later, so we did go with Lakeview and are so glad we did.

We went away while the work was being done and by that time I'd conversed enough with Mat that I went away with no concerns about something going wrong. I knew our floors were in the hands of professionals and I was comfortable.

One more thing: I have mentioned Mat a few times, but other staff members at Lakeview were really great, too. If I called and had a question, whoever answered the phone would address it. Not like with a lot of other businesses where no one wants to deal with you if you've already been talking to someone else. Other people there seemed to be familiar with who we were and what we were having done, and they seemed genuinely happy to help.

Doing business with Lakeview was a rare pleasure and I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Just had Mat Thompson and Sonny the installer just finish putting oak engineered hardwood in my basement -Looks great! Mat was very responsive to both the initial request and calls throughout the process, came in to do the estimate & reviewed all my options, and they got the job done quicker than originally quoted, and finished product looks awesome! Very professional, great work...I would use them again and recommend them.

I dealt with Matt Thompson at Lakeview for refinishing existing hardwood, blending in additional hardwood, & installation of slate for entryways. Matt was very knowledgeable, open with suggestions without being pushy & closely followed the project to a successful end. He was easy to contact & very quick to respond. Workers were personable & professional. Smoothest home project yet, & best results. I could have gone with a cheaper quote, but I'm so glad I didn't. So happy with my new floors & would definitely recommend them!

I contacted Matt Thompson at Lakeview Floors (aka Alberta Hardwood Flooring). He was extremely prompt in booking a time to estimate the floor refinishing and gave me the best estimate I could find on the market with a high end quality finish. Mike Smith was the project supervisor and he did a great job of managing the time it took to get the floors done and looking professional. I am now walking across smooth gorgeous hardwood floors. I expect to do the rest of my house and would not hesitate to give these guys a call again.

I ordered motorized window treatments for my two large front windows. The consultant came over and spent quite a bit of time measuring and going through my options in type and colour of blinds. The installer was very friendly and efficient and my blinds look great! I am very happy with the advice, the service and the installation.

After researching a few hardwood re-finishing companies we decided to proceed with Lakeview. The project involved re-finishing hardwood floors in the entire house including two flights of stairs and they did a fantastic job!
From the initial meeting with Mat we received a great service. We were really impressed how easy it was to communicate with them, no question nor request went unattended. Mat and his team were very accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable, they offered a lot of expertise and advice. The sanding team was very experienced and had great working ethics. We are very pleased with the final result, our floors look beautiful! We would definitely recommend Lakeview to anyone who was in the market for re-finishing hardwood floors!
