We hired Arbutus for landscape maintenance and some improvement projects related to the exterior spring clean up. After getting clear direction on the scope expected, Arbutus crews took very good care of the yard, arriving on time and doing extra clean up as required. We also had them clean out the garages and paint new dividing lines which was well done. They were also able to recommend another contractor to look after the sprinkler system which was very helpful. They seem to be a small, family run business and care about their customers.

I had a card for Basement Systems from the last home show and when the other contractor that quoted by job failed to show up, I called them. They came right out, gave me a good explanation of their process, gave me a detailed quote and eventually even billed by Condo Association directly. The work was scheduled soon after. The guy that did the work was a little late but called and was there at the revised time. He went right to work and had the crack filled from the inside in a few hours. He cleaned up after himself and gave me clear instructions. I was very impressed with both their customer service and the method they used which caused much less damage than repairing from the outside. I haven't had any significant rainfall to confirm that it's fixed but it looks like no water will be getting in.

I ordered motorized window treatments for my two large front windows. The consultant came over and spent quite a bit of time measuring and going through my options in type and colour of blinds. The installer was very friendly and efficient and my blinds look great! I am very happy with the advice, the service and the installation.

I arranged for them to clean some very large windows on 12 loft condos. They gave us a great rate, arrived on time, did excellent work for the price quoted and looked great in their kilts!

Susan at Merit was very helpful in providing options and advice for our company kitchen renovation. She came and looked at our current kitchen and listened to our various needs from office users. Her design is excellent and she guided us through cabinet colour and style selection as well as counter top choices. My friend had recommended Susan and she didn't disappoint!

The salesman was helpful and very patient as I had a hard time deciding on colour. He came to the house and measured and brought large sample boards to help me choose. The installer did an excellent job and left the place clean. Their new showroom in the south is very nice. I strongly recommended them to my neighbor.
