Secure Self Storage

Long-term customer. Awful business practices, do not care about the customers, just that you pay. Theyll be nice when you are looking to rent. Facilities themselves - below any acceptable standards (at least for some of the locations). Damage to units and belongings, no notification of same, no accountability. Inconsistent responses (and some false promises in the past) and customer service (some employees have been utterly horrible in the past, but the responsibility of course rests with the ownership and upper management for poor training and culture etc. The few who try to do better are inconsistent. Nothing is ever resolved and properly addressed). Poor to non-existent response rate to communication. Only timely communication is related to the customer payments. Occasionally, someone decent will try and give you some vague responses hoping to appease you and then ignore your inquiries seeking actual solutions. Clearly all stems from the head, no one decent employee could right this ship, with profit over ethics and customers as the company policy. Many of the reviews are incentivized (fell for that trap also years ago, another horror story) or from new customers happy with a competitive rate and yet to have the full My Storage experience. Rent at your own risk.

I had my items stored in the North York facility and my locker was broken into. My boxes were smashed, my items were crushed, broken and thrown around and taken. I was told by the Manager that "this is happening now". After one year of paying a lot of money for this unit just to have my items vandalized, and taken! Please do your research and find a more secure storage facility that has proper and real 24 hour surveillance to keep your items safe. I do not recommend this place.

Worst customer service I have ever received. They don't care if you leave even after 4 years. Raises prices without informing you. Rude and don't reply back as if there are no other storage companies out there. Would not recommend anyone to go there.

Secure Self Storage has great units with all kinds of shapes and sizes. Helpful staff, and the ability to access 24 hours - day or night. Can park inside facility to ensure rain, snow, mud etc. doesn't get on furniture.
