Furnace Inspection & Winter Servicing
Service Tech arrived on time performed all furnace manufacturer specification testing with all in compliance. I mentioned furnace was consuming slightly more gas than usual & I suspected a spider problem. Tech checked the 4 burner ports and found 1 not lighting. Removed burner assembly, removed inoperable burner orifice and sure enough removed a spider nest in the burner tube, reassembled & reinstalled the burner assembly with perfect operation. During my service call Tech received an important service call & I told him to address that more important telephone matter first resulting in a 1/2 hour delay. Because of that delay Tech did not charge me for removing, cleaning & re-installing the burner assembly.
