Best Septic company in Milton, Halton Hills area, they come ontime, they do the job right the first time, they charge a reasonable amount, they do charge travel time but that is the same for any repair people so no quams about that, they make sure your satisfied with the work and clean up, the employees are really friendly and helpful they answer any questions you have. I would reccomend this company for all your Septic Repairs

great company listened to my problem, had a guy out to see me the same day, did the work, got my system up and running cleaned up i would reccomend this company

I called Howden Edgar and Sons to enquire about a quote to replace the baffle in my septic tank which I had learned was not working properly.

I set a date for Howdens to attend for a quote. The morning of the quote I received a call from an employee asking if I would like them to just replace the baffle as they were coming here and digging up the area anyways.

I asked for an amount as to what this would cost and was told $400-$450.

I agreed without a formal contract. The company attended 20 minutes late and worked for 3 hours exactly. I asked them to settle up the bill before they left. The employees left after finishing the job without seeing me before they left.

I received a bill 2 weeks later for 4.5 hours of labour per employee (2 employees). When I called to complain they told me the employees time sheets stated they were here for 3.5 hours plus an hour of travel time (30 mins each way).

I eventually reached an agreement and paid for travel time one way to end the dispute even though I still don't agree with being charged for the travel time of the employees.

The work seems to be holding up so far, however my septic tank was pumped the same day so The baffle hasn't been used yet.

I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for septic tank repairs and if you do use them check your bill carefully.
