Late last night, I saw a mouse zip across the floor of my baby son's bedroom as I was feeding him. You can imagine my horror. It zipped into our bedroom and my husband and I spent the next hour chasing it around the room. We caught it and put it outside.
First thing the next morning I called Pesticon. Waheed came right down and did a thorough inspection of the house and concluded that we did not have an infestation but rather it was likely a sole one-off mouse. At that point, he let me know that he would be happy to turn around and go home or that he could put down traps anyway just in case. I believe what he said was "I will be happy to do the work but I will be just as happy if you decide you don't need it" - he was not pushy at all. In the end, I decided to have him put the traps down because with a new baby, I want peace of mind. He placed them all over the house and gave me instructions as to when to remove them. He also inserted some poison into a crack in the wall where the mouse might have entered. I believe that any exterminator could do what he did but I do not believe every exterminator would be as honest and courteous and professional as he was. I really appreciate his integrity.
