Clareville Distinctive Kitchens

Was very happy to work with Flora, the designer and Narinder, in charge of cabinet fabrication on the new kitchen we had installed. I compared their service, product and price to Ikea. For similar dollars we got a lot more. Flora came to our place to measure, and inspected again when all was done. The cabinets are made here in Toronto at their facility by Narinder, who also visited our house and the quality is excellent. I asked for a tour of the manufacturing area before committing and saw high quality plywood in use, tongue in groove joinery options... no particle board in sight. Flora chose a countertop company which also makes their countertops in Toronto, and they did a great job. She supplied the plumber as well. All good. I used my own electrician. Flora and Narinder were looking for new tilers and as I didn't have one of my own choosing, we tried their choice. Let's just say Clareville kitchens may still be looking for tilers they can trust. Everything else was done on a tight time schedule, on budget, on time and beautifully. This is not my first reno rodeo, and I really appreciate Flora being easy to get in touch with and the company delivering great work.

The company has a new owner (Narrinder) who has a high level of integrity and is a nice guy. They delivered what they promised and came back several times to fix things that weren’t quite right.

The kitchen looks and feels great we get a lot of compliments.

I think it was great and they were punctual with there work and they stayed till they weren’t done on time

We are extremely happy with our new kitchen island. Narinder and his team were excellent to work with. They were very patient when listening to what we wanted for the design. Narinder also made great recommendations and completed the job in record time. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to renovate their kitchen. They also fixed our supporting beam (located next to the island) and made it look so much better. A 10 out of 10 !!! Thanks Narinder and team!

Hired this contractor last year (April 2018), Luke (the owner) said the kitchen cabinet will be delivered 3 weeks after, so we immediately demolished our kitchen so it will be ready for the new cabinets, guess what?! He delivered the kitchen cabinets 6 months after (November), we begged him to finish the kitchen during the summer months, he will say he is in a meeting until 1am in the morning working on our kitchen, he gave us a lot of alibi that we dont believe his reasonings anymore, we missed a lot of events in our lives (daughter’s 7th birthday, son’s birthday, my husband and my birthday, even thanksgiving!!!) we cannot invite people in our home because we dont have a functional kitchen. after the long agonizing talk with this person, he still left an unfinished kitchen til now, the pull-out cabinet and the dividers, Luke the owner didnt do final check on the project like what most contractors with integrity would do. He is good at enticing people with his sweet talks, even encouraged us to pay the project in full so we could get discounts!!! This is our biggest mistake, to trust this person! Workmanship is not good, substandard work, will give you a lot of headache. It’s good that there is a 0 score option in this review because i wont even give him a score of 1 for the things he did to us. Do not trust him and Do not trust this company!!

Narinder and his team did a fantastic job redoing our kitchen. We could not be any happier and would gladly recommend him to family and friends. What sets them apart is their genuine concern for their customers. Always going that extra mile to make sure you are happy.

Dealing with Narinder has been a pleasure. Communication was excellent and the quality of the cabinetry is also very good. All adjustments and errors were rectified in a timely manner and to our specifications.

We needed some parts for our kitchen.Raj and his team could not have doNE more to help us. They took time and gave us 100 percent even though it was a small job they were extremely helpful and would do anything to help. I would recommend this company for there exceptional customer service. Hard to find these days.

I'll keep this short and to the point. With all the extra details and distress that I went through - I could've easily made this review very lengthy.

My wife and I contacted Clareville Distinctive Kitchens and Baths at the start of summer with the intention of doing a complete Kitchen renovation. We spent most of June interviewing Luke, visiting his Brampton showroom, and going over design details.

We were initially impressed by his commitment to the sales process. While visiting the Brampton showroom, he also provided details for payment options - he tried to highlight and incentivize bigger discounts if we gave a deposit of 90%. At first suspicious, we did not agree to this. But eventually we did (foolishly on our part thinking about it afterwards) agree to a 50% deposit and hired Luke at the start of July to construct and install the kitchen cabinets.

After the deposit cheque been cashed we then found ourselves REPEATEDLY asking to specify the start date and finish dates of the project. This dragged on for weeks. There was one excuse after another on the start date, commencement of project, etc. Without going into more details, we immediately lost full trust in dealing with Luke.

Knowing nothing had been started, we had asked for our deposit back on August 23, 2018. Luke had led us to believe that he is discussing reimbursement of the deposit with his staff and would need a formal letter of cancellation in order to proceed - this letter was provided. However, unbeknown to me, he was negotiating a sale of the business and this was not communicated until mid September. After numerous attempts to contact Luke and lawyer for Clareville since mid September - there has been no response to date and we have not received our substantial deposit back.
