Had a great experience with this company. Awesome crew, they were efficient, professional and hard working. They took the time to be sure the work was done properly, no cutting corners. Couldn't be happier. Would definitely recommend.

Never, ever again would i have them do my driveway. No referrals from us. They came excavated my driveway. Regraded, promised me 3-4 new inches of new gravel. They flattened what was there, added 1 inch of that of crushed concrete, which wasnt the gravel agreed upon. They said approved by government etc etc blah blah. There contract states gravel, but not the type. They came back 3 weeks later, i was shocked they came when they said they would this time. I asked the machine operator apparently one of the owners. I said, gravel is 1 inch below garage, 1 inch below sidewalks/city curbs. How will you get 3 inches of asphalt in there. He said contract states 2 inches. Yes it does, but it says 2 inches pressed. He insisted 2 inches pre-compaction, they installed pressed the asphalt. They didnt screw up slope, they couldnt, slope from garage to street drops 7 inches. But those curbs, like a slithery snake. Endless roller marks. Cracked 5th week. I've been calling them since August. No reply, no coming to take a look nothing.
PEOPLE READ THE REVIEWS, THE BAD ONES, not the good ones. The good ones i am positive are fake/family members typing/posting them. Read the bad reviews they are real!!

Should've read the reviews on many social media forums on them. I noticed they reply on good reviews. But no balls to reply on bad reviews. Leaves me to wonder if the good reviews are fake/friends of theirs building up there so called integrity/credibility.
I have read many negative reviews about West Ontario Paving both on HomeStars and Better Business Bureau since hiring this awful company, and can relate to many of the clients' negative experiences and the appalling treatment you can expect from the owner when you lodge a legitimate complaint, anything from delay tactics, not responding by agreed upon times, rudeness, threats, Especially Gaetano, all the threats, swear words. The facts are here in my home/driveway. Garbage

If you are looking for a company to rip you off and give you poor work and threaten you and give you tailgate warranty this is the company for you Gaetano and Jonny have a warranty that’s called tailgate warranty the minute their tailgate goes up there goes the warranty I just had a driveway done three months ago, which I have stayed off of until two weeks ago. Started parking my Corvette which weighs 1900 pounds sinks into my driveway I have over 40 potholes weeds coming through where I only have an inch of Ashpalt but gaetano and his brother Jonny said they are Professionals and blame everybody else so if you want to get ripped off call them they’re fantastic for it
P.S. they are friends of the family!!!!!! I hate to see the work they do for strangers

Comparing quotes and similar work done in my neighborhood showed they're 20% overpriced. Work was done relatively fast and at high quality. Gaetano was on site often directing the crew and to perfect the work. During driveway's E. border costruction there was some major grading issue, nevertheless upon showing it to Gaetano all was swiftly resolved no question asked, and to our 100% satisfaction.

As an update:
One and a half a year later all looks like new i.e. no asphalt slumping, no surface degradation, no cracks, no border brick separation. Thanks, job well done.

RUN!! & AVOID!!

Should've gone with my instinct. They gave me the run around when it was time to excavate, prepare driveway. They were two weeks late on that. The pavement date, they came six weeks late. I understand there are delays in the industry, via weather, breakdowns. But a phone call, not that I had to chase them. Parts of there equipment broke down in my driveway, oil leakage etc. It was a circus from start to finish. But boy was Mr. Gaetano present on time for pay day. I should've read home stars reviews,

In short driveway was finally paved, and its already cracking, not even 5 weeks after. I hope when I call them in May they will come repair it, cracks are worse

my advice RUN RUN RUN and avoid don't get burned

Job September 2018. Fantastic work! Would recommend this company to all my family and friends!!!! Everything come how I just want to. Friendly people. I'm so happy whit this company

Back in May 2018 called this company for price on my driveway and walk way
Came gave me a estimated on the work paid a deposit was told the would be started soon waited few weeks called left many massages no call back
Finally came started some work the company even removed my cable had to pay for the repairs from the cable company
Called them several times no answer left many messages
Nothing had been done
All they do is take your money and run very on organized
Unprofessional don’t care don’t answer your call
Please think twice before you have this company do any work you for you should not be in business
I is all they deserve very unprofessional company.

Waited MANY months for the work to get done, had to call a billion times and they finally did it just before Winter started. After a few months, correction was needed because water didn't slope enough and dangerous ice patches formed. Tried emailing/calling/leaving voicemails - didn't hear back from anyone. Don't waste your time just because they give a cheap price. Not worth the headache and terrible service. Use another company.
