Summer 2014 move from Scarborough/Toronto to the US. Move went well and I have no complaints. The driver, Tom, was very nice. On time pick-up and delivery with no damages. I am very happy with the service I received. Thanks abbeyWood!

I wanted to send along praise for one of your drivers, Tom (I’m forgetting his last name – Morami, perhaps?)

He handled our freight from Cambridge, MA into Toronto and it could not have gone more smoothly. Almost all of that is due to his professionalism and expertise.

When Mayflower was packing up our belongings in Cambridge, Tom stopped by with a crew member to start what he needed for the loading process. He also took the time to explain to my fiancé and I what was going to happen with immigration and Customs and what we should be prepared for. Having never moved to Canada, we were nervous but having him give us that explanation gave us a lot of confidence and assurance about the move.
On the Canadian side, Tom was amazingly helpful in making the Customs process go smoothly. He helped us get all of our paperwork in order, save money, and make sure the process was as stress-free as possible. His crew was quick, professional and totally on the ball when it came to unloading and unpacking at our final destination.

I can’t praise Tom enough. His knowledge and work was essential to our move going well. Should we decide to move again, we will certainly be using Mayflower/United because of what a great experience we had.

I have used Abbeywood for moving and storage since 2007 - to move my belongings, and my mothers from her home when it was damaged in a storm, and then from storage back to a condo. They are always kind, patient, professional, and go the extra mile...including helping me hang pictures at 2:00 am so my mom would feel at home when she walked into her new place. I have recommended them to a number of others and they have been equally pleased with the care taken and the professionalism. I can't speak highly enough of the staff and service.

On extremely short notice Abbeywood Moving were able to arrange our move for October 21st/22nd . They arrived promptly as agreed. The packers Jeanette and Mike were phenomenal as were the movers Mitch, Ainsley and Keenan. I have never seen people work so fast and so efficiently without taking a rest. They were extremely careful to protect all floors and stairways, were extremely pleasant and responsive to any questions. I would definitely recommend Abbeywood Moving and would certainly use them again.

The Tippet Richardson relocation consultant, David Novak, could not have been more helpful: he set up a well-managed, well-planned, multi-stage move. Packing/unpacking crews were incredibly courteous, well-trained, professional in every way. Particular thanks to crew leads Anton and Calvin for making this work so smoothly. Carpets and furniture were placed, boxes unpacked and removed. It was very, very helpful. Downsizing from a large family home in which you have lived for decades and moving into a condominium is a daunting task. To others who are thinking about doing this, consider using this company for really wonderful service.

Nov.22, 2013, Abbeywood Moving & Storage Inc. come into our lives.We sold our home in Scarborough on a very short closing date.We where moving to Ottawa. Ont. We had 3 companies with very different estimates . We chose Appeywood moving not the lowest but not the highest.
The move went without a hitch.The packing & loading was as planed.The movers where very professorial.
Nov. 27, 2013 in Ottawa..the weather was very cold & wet with snow..The movers laid down drop sheets as to not damage the rugs & hardwood floors.
Aug. 2014..just unpacked our last ( 144 ) box. no damage to report. Very smooth move.
The price was under by what they estimated by $200.00

My wife and I used them for the third time in December. There is a real difference between professional movers and the lowest priced movers. TR Limited sent a sales guy to come give us a quote and he helped us prepare for the move. I once used the least expensive movers I could find. These guys were sketchy movers that quoted one price and then held me and all of my worldly possessions hostage, until they raked me over the coals for significantly more - Don't make this mistake.

With Tippet-Richardson, you get what you pay for. They are friendly and efficient. I am grateful that they got us through our move on time and for the same amount that was quoted. They deliver the real red carpet treatment and their men are professionals. 3 of the 4 guys had been with the company for many years...They mentioned that the company provides them with a great benefit package. They did their job with care and pride. Nothing lost or broken: ) All in all, they weren't the 'cheapest', they were the best and worth every cent spent, as I value my stuff.
