1st time using Homestars. Bill called, collected information, and dropped off an estimate for a chimney rebuild. He and his crew arrived as communicated. They completed the works without any issues or mess. Very professional, expedient, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them for works in the future. Good experience on Homestars.

It was a pleasure dealing with Bill and his crew. They were very personable, professional and conscientious, taking pride in their work and trade. After they left, my grounds were cleaner than before they came. Their workmanship was exceptional and they were very easy to talk to. I would like to thank Bill and his crew for looking after us. My chimney was badly damaged so I received a few quotes. Bill's was very reasonable and he clearly knew what he was talking about. He is a chimney expert - hence the name of his company. Obviously with the COVID restrictions he had to wait for the OK and during that time he kept me well informed. His communications were excellent. Finally the crew arrived punctually this week, working very hard to complete the task in just over a day. There were some extras needed to the fireplace and for cleanup, all done extremely well. The crew was hard working, safety conscious, polite and thorough. I was more than pleased with the work.

The ceiling inside the house close to the chimney area had water spot. Thought it’s the chimney problem as it’s been many years since the last major repair. Browse the web, found Bill’s video talking about different chimney issues. Had an impression that he really knows what he’s doing. Emailed him, and he called back. Ask me to send some pics, then explained to me it probably not the chimney problem but promise to come by and take a look. End up it just need to change the rain cap, fix the broken bricks and do the caulking. Took some pics for me to see as I won’t see what’s been done up there. Everything done within less than an hour. This gentleman really knows what he is doing. I highly recommend Bill.

Bill and his crew came early before the expected time and started the j0b. They did an amazing job and Bill even checked our roof without asking and found some shingles torn and in bad shapes and also some holes in the roof which he even fixed. He took some pictures of the damaged roof and showed them to me. This job is not part of the contract but out of his kindness and compassion for seniors he went out of his way to help us. I talked to him and his crew and I found them very kind and polite. After the job they did the cleanup very well and even hose down the driveway and everything was so clean. Bill and his staff did an amazing job on our chimney and we couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. I highly recommend using them for your chimney/brick work.

Bill and two of his employees are very professional and courteous. We have 2 chimneys that need to be repaired, one is to tear down and rebuild and the other one is to repair the top few courses. Both were done professionally. They cover the AC and the deck prior to the work, make sure the demolition won't damage the property. Clean-up was excellent as well. I am forever grateful to Bill and his two team members for accommodating us in their busy schedule. At first, he was kind enough to come on a short notice to give us an estimate on our required job. He explained to us the work that was needed and that he would try to fit us in before our patio interlock repair date. True to his word, he managed to squeeze us in within a week’s time period. When he came with his team, they were not only quick but also tidy in their work. They completed all areas of tuck pointing neatly and happily obliged to some of our other areas of requests. Bill tried to resolve some unexpected findings in the chimney with his best possible solution and a ten year warranty. On the whole, it was a very pleasant experience and I have the peace of mind of knowing that I had honest, integral and hardworking team take care of my repair job.

We contacted Bill to clean our two wood burning fireplaces. They were filthy when we bought the house and we had no intention of using them. We also asked Bill to seal up the chimneys, but he explained that chimneys can't be sealed completely because that would trap in moisture. He said that he would install new caps.
Bill said that he normally does cleaning in the fall, but he fit us into his schedule. In addition to the cleaning and install of caps, Bill removed an old antenna that was attached to the chimney, and showed us some repairs that would need to be done as part of the chimney was crumbling.
What started off as a simple clean turned into a much bigger job when they discovered dead squirrels in the chimney! We were shocked as there was never any indication of a critter problem (i.e., no smell in the house at all). This led to the job taking longer and being more work.
We felt horrible that they had to deal with all that, and I had said to Bill that he could revise the quote he gave us, but he refused. We are very very grateful to Bill and his team for their excellent work and professionalism. We will definitely be asking Bill to do the chimney repairs this fall, and we highly recommend him and his crew.

This is the third time over the last five years that I’ve hired the Chimney company for different jobs. This time it was to replace my brick window sills which where falling apart and put in one piece rock face stone .
Bill and his guys are extremely meticulous with every aspect of their work from protecting the area for demo to rebuild and to clean up. We couldn’t be happier, thanks guys for another job well done.
