Supershade

Truly a terrible company. Met in December with all kinds of promises about a quick order and great installation. So its nearly June and we have one blind installed in wrong fabric, one skylight installed with missing crank, and 3 other blinds installed sloppily without tensioners. All four blinds were the same fabric and details provided to the sales owner were not conveyed. We have had two shoddy installations so far. Endless emails being told different things each time. No surprise to hear the owners sold to the Night and Day chain but everything is still terrible. I deeply regret using this company. Even

We had decided to invest in Hunter Douglas blinds for our Livingroom and a friend who had previously purchased from Supershade suggested that I get in touch with Lauren. I'm so glad we did, they were easy to work with.
Stefano came out a couple of days later and brought books and provided me with a quote the following day. We were in the process of a renovation so I wasn't sure about colour at that time. I called the office a few weeks later and Stefano graciously made a second trip to our home with samples. We made our decision and placed our order. He explained that the factory was running behind because of Covid and there might be a delay.
We were pleasantly surprised to receive a call 4 weeks later to arrange our install. We love that they under promised and over delivered. Garfield arrived yesterday and had our blinds installed in just over an hour. He was very personable and a true professional, a rarity these days. If you make a purchase, I would suggest you request Garfield for your install, you won’t be disappointed.

Our experience with super shade has not been super. We’re still missing a blind from our order (they measured incorrectly) 3 months out. They got our address wrong... twice! Even after I called and corrected it. Each time there’s an issue they can’t find our file or account. It’s taken up a lot of time, energy and money dealing with super shade. And we’re still missing a blind.

I have shopped here for many years and the quality, and service is always outstanding and the price is always right. I cant thank the team enough for the years of great customer experience.

Needed blinds for a new condo. I called the store and spoke with Lauren. Within the next couple of days Stefano came out to measure our windows.
The whole project was completed in 3 weeks. We're so happy it looks fantastic!

The shutters look amazing. Lauren answered all my questions and was very efficient in responding to emails. I love that they come with a lifetime warranty. Stefano was great at explaining and showing me all the products and recommending what he thought was best. They were always on time and punctual for appointments. All in all a great experience.

Great service from the company. We were aware that we were paying for a premium product after we check the regular stores (Blinds to go, etc.). We really got our money's worth with the service and consultation from Stefano when he came to our place and help us decide on the type of blind, colour, and material based on the room configuation. This was rather important as this blind covers most of the front wall of the house and very visual piece in the living room.

After renovating my condo, I needed to purchase blinds for my space. I found Supershade online and called to inquire about their products and spoke to Joy. She was very helpful and sent me numerous quotes for the various products I was interested in for my space. I visited their store which was very clean and had a nice variety of Hunter Douglas products on display (they only sell Hunter Douglas). Joy was even kind enough to lend me some samples so I can take them home to help make my decision on fabric and colour - this was one of the key reasons why I chose Supershade since no other company had such a well stoked show room or would allow samples to leave (especially without some form of down payment). By providing this option I was able to test various samples in different rooms and see how they reacted with different lighting throughout the day.

I then had Stefano (one of the owners) come out to see my space and measure, where he stayed for almost 2 hours and the visit was not charged. Stefano was extremely knowledgeable about Hunter Douglas and gave excellent recommendations. I also had the pleasure to interact with his wife Lauren who scheduled the appointment for their installer Garfield to come in and do a final check before the installation. Like Stefano, Lauren was also very helpful in providing feedback on the product I was looking at. Pricing was competitive to other companies, especially for Hunter Douglas products. Supershade also delivered on time with no issues or errors with my order.

For installation, Garfield was their installer and he is absolutely wonderful. I live in an older condo so my ceilings are very uneven and he was still able to get my blinds to look as levelled and beautiful . He was professional, personable, kept my space clean and removed all packaging the blinds came in.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience with Supershade and my blinds look beautiful. Without any hesitation I would recommend Supershade to anyone looking for high quality blinds and professional service and installation.
