Met them at the Home Show and requested a quote. We are very happy with the flawless execution of our project. Great design and workmanship. My wife and I live in a luxury estate subdivision in Woodbridge and we recently did our whole front yard with Royal Stone Interlocking and from the moment we met Tony, we knew we were in good hands. A couple of months ago, we started looking at various interlocking contractors to tackle our project and living in our neighbourhood, we wanted to have the work done with a high caliber company which had lots of experience, taste and would provide the Grand & Classy look we were looking for. Our project included re-doing our front porch, steps with flagstone, our landing, our driveway and landscaping.

It all started with a call to their headoffice for an estimate and we connected with Tony.
We had various quotes from various contractors prior to meeting Tony and Tony was the main reason why we went with Royal Stone. From the onset, Tony was very attentive to our vision and gave us some great ideas of his own and suggestions. From that point, we knew that we were in good hands and we knew that we had someone with whom we could easily dialogue with and who understood our needs. Tony responded to all my emails and was often by our place late hours to re-discuss and reassure us of our project. We have never seen somebody as patient as Tony..

The excavation was done quite quickly and they did a fine job in excavating the required level of to ensure that the stone would sit nicely. All the stones were placed symmetrically and the grading was done perfectly ensuring that water would run away from the house.
While the team was busy at their work, Tony was always there to ensure that everything was progressing as planned. Till this minute, Tony is still providing us with great after sale service.

The flagstone work was amazing and we truly believe that there is nobody currently outthere that can match their work in this area. My neighbour even said that he wanted to ripped his flagstone out and re-do his, a testament of how great mine came out..This past week, we just finished off our landscaping and again, Tony made sure that everything we wanted was in the plan. The landscaping was beyond our expectations and within the hour of completion, we were receiving back-to-back compliments.
I would truly recommend Royal Stone Interlocking for any of your projects. When their team arrived to my place, we were quite impressed with the number of equipment they had, a sign that they had the necessary tools to do a good work.
They were all very attentive to details and my wife and I are quite picky I can assure you that we would re-hire them for other projects. Ask for Tony and you will not regret it.

I just wanted to take a minute today to thank the entire team at Royal Stone for all their hard work and proper execution of the interlocking job/installation of the slab for a shed. From the initial conversations to the layout of a design to the support and foundation laid down to the final stone being placed.

I would like to especially thank Pino for your patience with us and leading us in the right direction, even down to the colour of our stone. We have received many compliments on the work performed. The overall commitment and execution by your crew led by Ken was tremendous and more than what we had expected.

The most comforting and professional experience came from Royal Stone! I wish I had found them the first time. My interlock experience started with another contractor by the name of Showcase contracting, who took my money and left my property in a mess.
My contact with Royal Stone was Ken, and he was extremely professional and empathetic to my situation. He took the time to examine the property and made suggestions on how he could fix the mess that was left behind. There was no pressure in signing a contract or even hiring them to do the job, he provided me a fair quote and simply asked to call him if we will move forward with the project. Upon confirming that we were going to hire Royal Stone, Ken and a crew of at least ten professionals came and completed the job in 2 days. OUTSTANDING! Ken updated me on the status of the project at all times (which was always well ahead of schedule), and was always professional. Also, they managed on leaving the area cleaner than when they first started. All I can truly say about Ken and Royal Stone is, Look no further, this is the company you want. Thanks again Ken!!

Royal Stone did a fantastic job on my terrace. After designing the layout for our 250sq ft condo terrace, we interviewed several contractors to do the work. Pino from Royal Stone was the only one to suggest changes to my design. He re-worked our original concept and came up with a much improved layout that incorporated a permanent gas bbq, outdoor kitchen with granite counter and storage, and very cool integrated lighting.

Our building has strict rules on renovation construction mess and noise so I was concerned about the time and that it would take but the Royal Stone workers were clean and fast and did a great job cleaning up after each day and following my condo's rules.

We couldn't be happier with the results and am looking forward to entertaining on our beautiful terrace all summer long.

Of all the contractors that my wife and I looked into, the one that stood out the most was Royal Stone. Pino was very professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to show us previous projects completed, and each homeowner had only good things to say about their experiences with Royal Stone. Now that our job is complete, we too, have nothing but good things to say about Royal Stone and their crew. Ken and the crew were well equipped with all their trucks and machinery. The workers were also very respectful of the property and professional. Needless to say, we would not hesitate to refer Royal Stone to anyone who wants the job done right!

Pino from Royal Stone was fantastic to work with, and very professional and knowledgeable.

He took the time to understand our vision for the project and executed the design perfectly.

He designed the true “outdoor living” with a functional outdoor kitchen, relaxing fireplace and stunning patio area….we could not have asked for more!

The workmanship was second to none - and we are very picky!! I would highly recommend Royal Stone and would use them again in an instant.

Job was completed very quickly and great at first. However over time issues came about and it was very hard to get royal stone to warranty their work in a reasonable amount of time (took about 6 months to respond). The very poor communication and professionalism of staff (Pino and Ken) for handling warranty i would defiantly reconsider having Royal Stone complete your work if you want a warranty.

I do not appreciate being called multiple times one hour after this post and being yelled at and threatened with lawyers for slander. This is not slander and only an honest review; I have all paperwork to back it up. If this is how you conduct your business then I would be very concerned about your future potential customers. I only wanted a solution to the issue at hand and you wanted to part of it, when we talked I was not able to even get one word in… it is clear to me that customer service is not your priority.

Please see my inline responses to yours:

“Last year you contacted us requiring a repair and it was done to your satisfaction.”
>> Pino it took about 6 months, several e-mails and several phone calls to actually get you guys to come out. I was told several times that someone would come by to fix and address the issue within 2 weeks, that time then came and went with no response from the company. It was only until I sent a formal response to your company that I actually got someone out to look at my place. I asked to get the work looked at early in the year… someone from royal stone did not come to look at it until late October. Which it must have been a rush job as it started to fall apart right after winter.

“This year you contacted us again stating that you required additional repairs. Within 24-hours, Royal Stone came to your home with 3 employees ready to do the repair only to notice that the repairs you required were due to the improper work performed by the other contractors.”
>> Let’s not sugar coat things here, 24 hour turnaround time was due to you already being in the area. The last time I called it took about 6 months to respond.

“You advised us that the other contractors cut the retaining walls constructed by Royal Stone in order to accommodate your new patio; thus, damaging the original structure of the walls.”
>>I had advised your employee Ken that the other company at our request cut / shaved off the tip of the stone due to leaning too accommodate our day bed which is NOT new and was existing when we first had Royal Stone begin work on our property. Over time the walls started to lean (before other work was completed) and we asked them to cut the brick to gain the extra quarter inch to allow for the bed to fit again. In no way was your work tampered with structurally.

“The other company also failed to install weeping pipes along the retaining walls to allow for proper water drainage. We tried to explain to you that the water drainage issues you are experiencing are due to the way the patio was graded off the walls, as well as missing weeping pipes along the walls to allow for proper water drainage, however you clearly stated that you did not care whose fault it was, and that you wanted and expected Royal Stone to correct the water issues you are experiencing. “
>> Let’s not put words in other people’s mouths here, this is not what was said as you were not there for the conversation. I attempted to let your employees know where I was coming from and that the beds were leaning before other work was completed. Your employees did not want to listen to me nor did you when I called in to try to remedy the solution. Your employees flat out said there was nothing they could do to frost and this was before they asked about the other work.

“When our foreman began taking photos of your property to document the supposed damages, you kicked him off your property. “
>> Your “foreman” was completely unprofessional yelling and raising his voice and was very confrontational; I had every right to ask someone to leave my property if they are confrontational. I had informed him that there was obviously nothing else for us to discuss and I would contact the company…. Only then when I went in the house did he proceed back onto my property to start taking pictures. He was trespassing at this time.

“You also advised that if we did not complete the repairs, you would be posting such negative reviews with various consumer websites. “
>> This is completely a false allegation and is not warranted. I had actually provided a very positive review for you on this site originally it is actually still posted early last year.

“ Royal Stone stands behind our work 100%. We warranty ALL our work….not mistakes made by other contractors. We trust that you will refrain from posting any further false allegations as to how we warranty our work. “

Royal Stone did my driveway, front entrance and front landscaping.
They listened to my ideas and put to gether a design that fit the look of my home and worked with my budget. I dealt with Tony, who was great!! He designed the entire job including the landscaping. The trees and plants that he recommended worked great with the overall design. The whole crew was very organized. They are equipped with all the necessary equipment to get the job done fast! I would definitely recommend Royal Stone to anyone looking for a company to do the job right and fast!
