Vinny is amazing! I needed the floors redone in my apartment asap. She found me a contractor in a few hours to come in the next day. Then she gave me the cost of everything and did everything she could to make sure that I got my floors in the short timeline I had given them. The staff all seem to be very helpful and knowledgable. This is the Rona I will always go to.

AC Side discharge (Quiet Breeze) I shop every where to find a small AC unit to fit in my small backyard, after 2 years, I finely find the good one at the exact price to fit my budget. The AC is supply by D & H Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning Ltd. The deal was made with RONA STOCK YARD, Venilia Rodrigues was great and Denham Palmer from D&J was great too! He is the person who come to my place and make me the pitch. The installation was high-quality, they where 30 late but they start right away! and they were very professional and clean up after they finished and pick up the old AC. For sure if you have a small back yard you go for the side discharge 13 sears, and it is very quieter then a window AC. I shop at Rona whenever possible. Their prices are competitive and they have a good selection. Returns are handled at any location, not just at location purchased. Best of all they're a Canadian owned company.

Putting in new floors in a rental in my house. Rona had the cheapest price on bamboo, but we found some better bamboo in previously opened boxes, marked down to a low price. Unfortunately, we couldn't find enough of it. A Rona staff person came by, did an extensive search but couldn't find more either. He recommended a similar, more expensived coloured bamboo, but it was out of my price range. He then offered the new bamboo to us at the same price as the marked down bamboo!

Wow. This guy not only gave us his time for a good 15 minutes or so,he also saved me a couple of hundred dollars, without haggling or bargaining.

I'll take that kind of service in a big box store anyday.

I purchased a new shower faucet at Rona ($230) and decided to give the Rona install services a try. The young lady at the install counter was nice enough and told me it would cost roughly $130 to replace my existing one. The following week the contracted out plumber for Rona comes over and tells me that it will be more money for the install and to call Rona to see what he will quote them. After trying to contact my Rona install contact numerous times and leaving messages I finally get her on the phone and she tells me it will be an additional $250 for a total of $380 just for the install so I decide to find another plumber to do the job instead. (which was much cheaper) Trying to get refunded for my install took me weeks as she would not return any of my calls and early one morning I finally got a hold of her on the phone. So much for Rona customer service, I will definitely not do business with that Rona again.

they did not have the plumbing equipment that was advertised so we stooped the assoicate, in the dept, he was rude and did not have his name tag on and so we spoke to some else, was todl to go else where, we advise the same

Purchasing a new bedroom window was made easy. They gave us plenty of options and informed us of the varying types of glass that can be installed based on your individual needs (minimizes sound, controls cold etc. The contractor hired to complete the job was a little slow, but took his time to do things right which is what we would rather have. In the end, he did an excellent job.

We used Rona on various occasions during the building of our house to get some stuff. The staff were always nice, but the selection could be better. I often ended up going over to the competition across the way and finding more product.
