Basement Renovation

I was very disappointed in the service and advice that I received from Rona when I decided to renovate my basement last fall. The product selection wasn't as wide as that at [another store], and the staff did not seem to be as knowledgable on the products themselves.

$30,000.00

Purchase new tub

I really found shopping experience at Rona much better then some of the other large home improvement centers. The layout of the store is very nice and the staff are readily available to assist when necessary.

After we purchased the tub we were unsure how we were going to get it home but then discovered that Rona has a truck rental agency right in the store and we easily rented a van for a half day at a very reasonable rate. That extra service was just what we needed.

$1,500.00

PAINTING

I bought a new condo last year around summer time. And we went to Rona to choose the painting colour and the brushes and everthing related to painting. It is easy to get lots of colour card and we can bring them home to match. Since it is a very small project, we can find lots of small pack. And we got some help from the shop assistant in choosing what type of finishing, eggshell or peral. So far it was good experience. We got good pricing in the paiting, but some other tools is a little bit more expensive than some other retailer. Just want to shop at once, not to go around. So far it is good.

$300.00

Painting My House Myself - Thanks to Rona

After pricing out painters to paint my 3 bedroom house top to bottom, I went to rona with my own little home made sketches in hand. The people at the paint desk went above and beyond their duties with help and advice. I had not a clue about painting when I first went there, but they left me feeling impowered and confident I could do the job which I did, and my home is truly lovely. They advised on the latest style colors and throw pillows to match etc and WOW oh WOW.
Friendly faces, a smile to greet you, and outstanding service.
Thank you Rona at 768 Warden ave.

Bathroom repairs

I don't recommend coming to Rona for home renovations especially for bathroom fixtures or buying a new toilet. Their selection at this particular Rona was limited and the prices were relatively high compared to competitors. Granted this store was new and had just been in place for a few months, I expected better prices compared to Home Depot.

house paint makeover

I was not as happy with Rona as I was with Home Depot. I stood around for over 20 min waiting for someone to help me and saw a few employees standing around doing nothing. I had to seek out my own help. They weren't train nearly as much as I would have liked them to be as I do not know much about paint and needed the help. They should really focus more on training and keeping an eye out for their customers.
