We called Priority last year when we had an emergency, and were pleased with the service at that time so we signed up for the membership. We were pleasantly surprised that a one-time payment provides a lifetime membership. As part of that, they reached out to me recently for annual inspection and maintenance. The check is free, but of course they uncover problems that incur expense, and that's how they generate business. That said, it's reassuring to have professional eyes on the system on a regular basis -- we take our cars for service, our computers, why not our plumbing? I would rather spend a bit each year than have something go undetected and result in flooding. But really, what made this a great experience was the personnel, who were patient, thorough, knowledgeable, and very willing to explain every step and advise us on how to keep everything working properly.
