Priority Plumbing

I pulled a rubber gasket from my bathroom drain trying to clear a clog. Silly move as I shouldn't have done it but I called Priority Plumbing to get their take on if this was an important piece. Greg who was very courteous) came and concluded that it must have been something the previous contractors had dropped and said I shouldn't worry. I told him there was a bit of resistance when I yanked it out but he said just wait for a leak. He stayed maybe 10 minutes, didn't even bother to open my drain and see if it was an important piece. I paid $50 for this. He spent most of his time showing me where my water meter was (I already knew where it was) and looking under my sinks at the existing plumbing and giving his 2 cents. A few days later, there was a leak in the ceilinng from the bathroom above. Apparently this rubber gasket was important!! I googled this particular bathtub drain and there is a schematic drawing that shows where this rubber gasket goes. So I called another plumber who opened my bathroom drain (oh there's an idea) and replaced it with another rubber gasket. Problem
solved.
