Grand duke upholstery on her list can custom make, re-do, or fix any furniture situation with cooperation and cost which is reasonable.

My husband and I recently bought a house and we're slowly trying to turn the house into a beautiful home. Before rushing out and spending a ton of money on furniture, art and small renos that don't all come together because of our lack of vision, we decided to consult an interior decorator for advice. Thank god for all of the wonderful reviews of Nanette on Homestars, because thanks to them, we called her. She came over for a two hour consultation and gave us a long list of advice tailored to our family's needs and personality. We've already begun painting our house in the colours she recommended (which, for the record, terrified me when she suggested them and are just magnificent on our walls). She left us feeling like we now have direction and a coherent, achievable plan for the house.

Beyond being an excellent decorator, Nanette is just an absolutely lovely person. She is so approachable, nice and helpful. After two hours with her, I already adore her and can't wait to see her again when we're ready for our next round of advice. I trust her so thoroughly, I recently found myself standing in a lighting store saying, "I need a batphone to call Nanette on for emergency advice!!!"

My family and I hired Nanette for consultation with our bathroom renovation.This was our first time renovating and had no clue where to start and what to include to ensure the job was done properly. Nanette was very concise and focused on our needs to ensure functionality and results that was pleasing esthetically. She provided us with options at various price points, and responded quickly to follow up questions. In all, her assistance in our first bathroom renovation was beneficial and an asset. I have used Homestars a number of times and Nanique Interiors turned out to be one more positive experience to add to my list. I really felt that I got excellent value -- not only was Nanette professional but she understood what we were trying to accomplish. In our situation, we were seeking to maintain the charm of our older house with a modern, cozy interior; she got it and could offer plenty of advice and recommendations whereas other reputable designers could not -- I strongly recommend Nanette and I can assure you that I will be using her again in the future. Though we know what we like when we see it, neither my wife nor I have much sense of how choose colours to give a space a particular look and feel. After reading her positive reviews, we hired Nanette to advise us on paint colours for our entire home. She's punctual, professional and made the process fun. Nanette suggested colours that neither of us would have picked and though we were somewhat hesitant we put our trust in her . Glad we did because the rooms look great! We'll be getting further advice from her on flooring.

I hired Nanette after reading all the positive reviews on homestars and all the reviews are true. Nanette is very professional, very accessible & have creative ideas. My husband and I want our 2nd bedroom to be bigger & Nanette gives us wonderful ideas in terms of how to get that done. She then proceeds to give us valuable lighting advice for our living room. I had been in my place for a few years and I was overwhelmed on where to start when it came to paint colors and furniture layout. Nanette provided me excellent ideas for furniture layout with my current furniture and amazing paint selection. Nannette spent the time to explain how to use accent pieces and lighting in each room. I hired Nanette to assist with fabric choices for a built-in bench in new kitchen - she came up with some creative and fun choices, as she appears to have hundreds of sample books! The fabrics she suggersted all durable, yet colourful and different. I love them! Her upholsterer (Grand Duke's Upholstery) did an amzing job on the seat cushions. The throw pillows are also well made and just beautiful. The workmanship was perfect and worth every penny! Nanette has a great eye for colour and I am very pleased with the end result. I will call her again when I am ready to tackle my next project!

Nanette helped me to renovate my entire 900 sq ft condo in the fall of 2012. This included a renovation of a master bedroom, ensuite bath, kitchen, living room, and solarium. Nanette was the designer who helped with the overall look. This included selection of carpet, paint, bathroom tub, vanity, fixtures, light fixtures, living room furniture, kitchen counter, back splash, and sink. She also engaged the contractors to complete the work. At the time, my condo was approximately 25 years old so the unit had to be completely gutted. I am VERY pleased with the result. My home is a place that I really enjoy being in and I have received very favourable comments from family and friends. Nanette was very timely and professional. She assessed my needs and was able to help me make selections that I absolutely love. She was in contact regularly and researched options for me so that my selection process was very fast and efficient. The contractor, Melena, and her team were amazing. They too were fast and efficient given the noise restrictions imposed by my condo. They were complimented on how quiet that they were. I would highly recommend them too. On the whole, I am very pleased with the result of my recommend and would highly recommend Nanette and Melena and the team of contractors.
