On our first meeting, everything seemed very professional. Our furniture was expertly checked and the price was expertly put together for us!!! We did feel quite safe. All was good until the day. On June 20th, the 3 men came on time, started getting my furniture ready to move out of my condo. No carpets put down as promised! Within 2hrs: break no1, which took me by surprise. Note: we were told that the workers will be quick and take only a lunch break. Then all the packing was done by 1230pm (because we had everything dismantled and packed in boxes ready to just take down)one of the men even commented on how organised we were. I was told they will take their lunch break and bring the furniture to my new location in just over an hour. 2 hours later(!!!), I am still waiting for the men to arrive. Of course I am worried as they have all my furniture... I call Moveworks office and cell, no answer!!! Finally they arrive and I ask them what took that long, they said traffic. I find that hard to believe as I took the same route about 20mins after them and I got there fine. And I know what route they took as I gave them the directions!! Again, no carpets put down until I mentioned, they did not want to take their shoes off either and this was a rainy day and my house is in a new neighborhood, so lots of mud on the ground. Luckily we had put down cardboards in the front area ourselves. My clothes that were on hangers were mostly hung up, but many items I found on the floor in each of my cupboards. The men were also using their dirty gloves to handle my clothes. I was not impressed. There were 2 more breaks in the afternoon so finally when it was done, an hour over the estimated time, it came time to pay. The driver insisted we pay more that we were asked to pay. He was very rude to my husband, raising his voice and advising his colleagues to leave as he would be at our house for a couple of hours more. I was shocked that an employee would behave in such a way - I was not even talking to the owner and was being treated so badly. In the end we paid up thinking we will take this up with Moveworks later on. I started making my calls to Moveworks, but ended up leaving message for 2 days. Finally I get a call back and was promised my money back. ITS NOW OVER A MONTH.I have not received any money, I have not heard back from Moveworks and I am actually getting more and more fustrated thinking about this. With such bad customer service, do you think I am going to recommend them to anyone??? NO WAY. A month later I am still waisting my time over a service that I have over paid for in the first place, that did not fulfill all their promises of a PROFESSIONAL JOB and cannot be bothered to even get in touch with me after the fact. I have now rated this company ZERO after a month, and I can safely say: Never again and will not recommend!!!

Found Moveworks to be an absolutely professional moving service right from quoting for the job to its ultimate delivery.

My closing got postponed by a day on a busy time after my stuff was already loaded on their truck. Moveworks handled this situation most professionally and with requisite flexibility with minimal cost impact. The delivery was completed the following day to our entire satisfaction.

We found their moving crew led by Ray and Sam to be very helpful and efficient. Really appreciate Ann Thornton and rest of her team's effective communication and helpful service throughout the process.

I recently moved from an apartment in Etobicoke to a condo in Mississauga and chose Moveworks. They offered a reasonable rate and performed an in house estimate of the move. I was guaranteed a maximum price for the move. On moving day, the movers arrived on time. They were courteous, responsible and professional. The crew worked quickly and efficiently and loaded the truck sooner than expected. They finished the job on time without any problems. I was quite happy with the crew's work and quite relieved with how smoothly the move went. Unfortunately, I was over-charged by half an hour, despite the guarantee. I didn't make an issue out of it, since I was satisfied with the work of the crew. A few days later, I was contacted by Moveworks management (Ann Thornton) to determine how the move went. I expressed my satisfaction with the crew's work, but also my disappointment about being over-charged slightly. Ann agreed to refund the difference and I received the refund ($50) within a few days. Thank you Moveworks, for your hard work, and your professional and honest approach. I highly recommend your services.

We have used Moveworks 4 times in the past 2 years for packing, and moving our home. They were always on schedule, courteous and professional. As well, they offer excellent rates that are competitive and pleasing. I would recommend their services for reliability.

Moveworks gave us an estimate for our move 3 years ago from Mississauga to Timmins, but we had a friend with a truck, so we did it ourselves. Never again. This time we contracted Moveworks. They were able to give us an accurate quote because we knew what size truck we had used. They picked us up in Timmins on Thursday March 19, 2009 and safely delivered our belongings in Mississauga on Saturday March 21, 2009.

My recent move was made extremely easy by the people at Moveworks. On the day of my move, the movers arrived on time with the wardrobe boxes and floor runners that had been promised. When we got to our new home, the movers made sure that the furniture and boxes were in the correct rooms. At the end of the move I was happy to see that the estimate had been incredibly accurate. The movers were polite and friendly and they did a great job. I will definitely recommend Moveworks to my friends. Thanks for everything!

Ray was the driver on the move and handled everything very professionally. I just moved locally for the second time in Missisauga and used Moveworks both times.
