Midland Appliance

We purchased all of our appliances from Midland when we renovated our home. This included the firdge, dishwasher, stove. We were very happy with the service. They had a variety to choose from and gave me honest advice which suited my kitchen design and usage. They even held my appliances until my kitchen was complete before they delivered.

I find their customer service to be great, just a bit slow as the people that work at this location is older than all the other showrooms i've been to.

We purchased 4 appliances from Sandy at Midland, including a Miele dishwasher. Upon moving in, I noticed the dishawsher was not the one we ordered and called Sandy immediately (late May). She admitted it was her mistake and she assured us there was a replacement coming. Weeks went by without hearing from her, I kept calling to check in. A month later, she said the racks would be switched out and had an installer come to create the dishwasher we ordered by adding and taking out various pieces. The end result was a dishwasher with 2 missing pieces, and a rack that didn't fit it properly. I called Midland again to remedy the situation (this time speaking with their Sales Managers, Rob and Roger) and suggested that perhaps they just replace our dishwasher with the one we originally ordered. They called the Miele rep to come and take a look. Another month went by, before they finally came by again - to replace the rack (not the dishwasher). Ten (10!) weeks since I initially called/emailed about them sending the wrong appliance.

They were very nice about it all, kept apologizing and making various excuses, but the bottom line is that it took 10 weeks (and 20+ phone calls/emails).

The "compensation" they promised me (for not replacing our dishwasher and the countless hours I spent emailing/calling) consisted of some dishwasher tabs and laundry soap which was a nice gesture, but felt very much like "too little, too late".

Seems with Midland - they are great with pre-sale service, but, for me, the after-sale service sucked!

The customer service was awesome and not pushy, plus follow up service was awesome. The showroom was under renovations at the time, but it was huge and lots of selection. The sales rep was excellent, down to earth and spoke from personal experience about the products. There are several locations within the lower mainland of Vancouver and we dealt with the Richmond office. The entire expericence was "comfortable" and we'd go back without question.

Dave Bast was fantastic to deal with, went through honestly and openly about each of the appliances we were looking for, it was difficult since we knew nothing about them, but he guided us and recommended what he thought was the best value and quality for our price range.

happy with the service, i would make to to give them a good recommendation to my friends. and they provided satisfactory customer service and the price they discussed was comparable to that of other similar products.

We went to purchase a dishwasher, but fell in love with a fridge that made our kitchen so much easier to use and creates air and space. Midland went above and beyond when we had a service issue over a long weekend, and the service tech was the senior staff person from the country of origin of our fridge.

I purchase a new fridge for my home. The price was reasonabel. They Delivered they fridge in time. They even took away the old one and put the new fridge in place for me. I will use them again to purchase my other appliances

our appliances are great. we measured wrong and midland was very flexible about replacing the item with one that would fit. we wanted a very inexpensive dishwasher. the one that they helped us choose was not a great product and when it malfunctioned they told us that this was a common flaw with the product. we had to chase them to follow up with us, they tried to pass us off and didn't really take the time to resolve our issue. overall we were very happy with midland and we would use them again.

the staff at midland were friendly, available and knowledgeable. their prices were reasonable, with a large selection in an extensive showroom. they had a good range of price points. they delivered our appliances on time and they are continually providing service even though we've had the appliances for over a year now.
