Brand new house 2019.
. Little over a year $1400 chimney died. Mattamy said warranty expired. Spend $900.
Electrical piano switches some of them are cracked.
Top roof turbines noisy. Neighbour yelling, cant sleep.
And Mattamy says, warranty expired .
Mattamy use cheap products, sub standard contract work.
Stay away. Dont put your hard earned money in mattamy.

Mattamys construction quality is not that good, they are not upgrading with current trend. They are still using old traditional bricks and stones and also quality is not good. Their customer service is not good, they can do whatever they want but they will not accept any minor change from ourside. Based on my experience I dont recommend Mattamy.

Terrible quality. Ive lived in my home less than a year and have had many issues. Recently, I went to update a faucet in my powder room. In order to do this we needed to remove the pedestal base of the sink. The actual sink should be attached safely to the wall and studs with two wing bolts. However, Mattamy installed mine with only one into drywall. This meant that when we removed the pedestal to access the plumbing, the entire sink fell off the wall and hit my dad in the head. Extremely dangerous, and we are lucky that no one was injured. Mattamy customer service has been nothing but useless, and instead of acknowledging that their poor installation created this issue, they blame us.

Mattamy came to my house once for a total of 10 minutes where the guy told me that it should NOT have been installed that way. Anyone in construction can tell you that a sink should not be attached to a wall with one wing bolt into drywall. This is unacceptable.

Dont buy a Mattamy home. These people dont care, they put the home up as fast as they can, take your money and refuse to fix their issues. Its such a head ache. 2 and a half years, Im still trying to get simple 30 day items fixed.. its completely unacceptable. They will wait you out until you just give up or you just get someone else to fix it at your own cost. I have lost so many days of work waiting for repair people to show up to appointments and they just dont show up, Ive lost count.
Save your self the time and frustration, look somewhere else.

The misery continues in a sub-standard home Possessed in 2019. Garage floor continues to sink, driveway has separated from the foundation and continues to sink. Less than a year of possession, it was brought to the builder's attention of many defects, inclusive exposed electrical wires, uncovered sewer pipe behind insulation, leading to prolonged illness in our family, and over 100 staples poking through the carpet on the stairs.
This builder and their affiliates have opposed to accept responsibility in many ways. They Make the home owner feel it is their fault to observe deficiencies, and they played the victims game.

DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM THIS BUILDER AND IT'S AFFILIATES.

Poor workmanship and very very cheap trades
Constant delays and no interest to respect deadlines
No attention to details and no high quality
Horrible experience with warranty office
Arrogance at every level, including their SVP
Never able to get anything done even if insisting
I was in and out my condo after occupancy to let them finish and after 6 months post occupancy I still could not invite a single guest in my place

Quality of work subpar. Commitment to warranty abysmal. People - terrible. Management lacking of any customer care. Leadership - absent to everything but the dollar figure.

Do YOURSELF a BIG favor and research about the builder you want to buy a home from. I ended up spending 40k on bathroom and roof repair of a 4 year old home! Make sure you do enough research about mattamy homes before you give them your hard earned money!

Concrete floor is scaling or flaking and Mattamy & Tarion is blaming homeowner for not doing proper cleaning in the winter time.
100% a incorrect as I took very good care of the garage floor all year long.
They are blaming salt water coming from the car.
again 100% incorrect, simple they used a cheap concrete or did not worked concrete properly when smoothening the floor.
Never ever would I recommend this company to anybody not even to my worst...!
