My wife and I purchased a 15 year old house in Fall '14 and we were dismayed to discover that the home inspector had 'okayed' the attic insulation (R20). Once winter hit, our top floor was quite cold.
I contacted Insta Insulation in late December and they were able to come in early January to top up the attic insulation to R60. The crew was prompt, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Our home was nice and warm over the past winter.
I think that I could have paid a bit less if I had taken a chance with a smaller company, but I don't know if the risk would be worth saving a few hundred dollars. Cellulose insulation is messy stuff and shoddy installers could really mess up your house. All in all I'd recommend Insta Insulation.....just make sure to call them before they get too busy in the Fall!
