The quality of the futon from Ikea is not as good a I expected. The price is a little high. In addition, assembling took me a lot of time.

While the quality isn't the best, it is inspiring to see innovative design.

Ikea always carries a wide selection of home decor accessories for any mood I want to create in any room in my home. Whenever I need just the right touch to add, I find it at Ikea. Most recently I have purchased new drapery hardware to liven up my bedroom and I was able to find exactly the style I wanted, within my budget. Every time I visit the store, there is something new and interesting to catch my attention and help my imagination.

There are never enough staff available to help with kitchen questions. The staff that were available were pretty good at designing our kitchen, however it took a couple of iterations before we had one that worked (ie. enough spacers so that doors would open fully and a layout that was practical). The items were easy to assemble and install but since it was a custom layout you had to be very organized with all of the parts that were kitted. They also include a DVD that shows you how to install the cabinets and gives helpful tips along the way.

I really try to avoid giving excellents to a company but I have to be honest. I chose Ikea for my kitchen because of the trade shortage in BC and boy was that a lucky choice. Now with their fabulous kitchen choices, the only difference I see is in the bottom line. The choices offered are first rate and I love my new kitchen!
