Hometurf Lawn Care Service

I have used this service for the past two years and have been happy with it. They do what they are supposed to when they are supposed to. I like the info they leave after each time to.

VERY POOR SERVICE:

We hired this company by seeing commercial on TV first they came on Apr 15 just for fertilizer and need service for weed on my lawn. After calling for 3-4 weeks same answer we will come next week if weather permit. There was rain only once or twice in last 3-4 weeks. ###########DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY#########

Good service when called regarding lawn care and weeds . Phoned about the weed problem and in 24 hours service people were here and looked after the problem . I consider that excellent service .

We paid for their premium program which includes season long weed control and this is what our lawn looks like now. We had to call them twice and they said we won't have a crew coming out until next week. Next week comes along and the crew only does aeration! Now we have to wait again. Won't use them again . Poor communication.

Ordered the complete program and paid in full. Unfortunately their customer service is not good. A few times I called, it's always the same lady and she is rude. Last call was to inquire when the weed control application is going to be done since my yard is already full of weeds. The answer she kept giving me is "I don't know when they are coming, there is no exact date but your documents have been printed". What does that mean?? I tried to ask a few times for clarification but she kept giving me the same answer. Finally I asked don't you have a schedule as to when each visit is going to be, and she said between 4-6 weeks. So i asked when my last visit was. Turned out to be 4 weeks ago. I assumed then this visit is going to be in one or two weeks. She could have just answered that from the beginning without having to be rude. Very uninformative. Sorry but with this kind of service I will not be a returning customer. The good is only that they offer competitive pricing.

I did cancel the services with Hometurf for the next year (2017), just to learn now at the end of October 2016 when I called, that I do not get the Fall fertilization because I canceled the next year services and that would be complimentary offered in the case I stay with them for the next year. I refuse to believe that a complete package of 300 dollars does not cover a Fall fertilization leaving the lawn prepared for the next year, regardless which company the customer choose to go with the following year. Hometurf lawn care stopped coming in August (early Sept) when they did the last application. In spring I had to call them several times to come after a month and a half between visits.
I paid 300 dollars in advance last year for their services, mostly to get rid of weeds, but I get more and healthier weeds than ever!!!

We have used Home Care for the past 5 years at 2 different houses and have been very satisfied with the service. The lawn care providers show up as scheduled and always leave us additional information/tips to assist us in improving the condition of our lawn. I would recommend HomeTurf's services without hesitation.

I hired hometurf for my lawn care service first year.It cost me a lot of time for asking them to do the service in correct order and on time.I got the early spring fertilize April 1st.Then I asked them to do the aeration as soon as possible when the weather is right.But I was told they will do in early-middle of May.Today May 12,I saw their service notice again but there was no aeration done as expected.I called the office and a lady told me that will be done in middle of June.I couldn't understand why they changed the schedule without considering the customer's best interest.I had very bad experience to deal with this company and I am not happy with them.

2nd visit, however please make sure to tuck the invoice and newsletter in the door. I found them in one corner of the front yard. Please close the gate when you leave. Looking forward to start seeing results.

I am extremely pleased with the service that we have received from both the office staff and the technicians. They have been very courteous and professional; excellent interpersonal skills. I would highly recommend this company without reservations.
