Home Depot - Burnaby

Purchased washer and dryer combo from Maytag during Boxing Week in 2010. Home Depot is good if you know what you are looking for. This is especially true on price. I had done my research online, and I was in and out within 30 minutes. Don't expect too much service or expert knowledge from the staff there. The products were delivered on time and my contractors installed it without any major issues.

We recently bought Maytag washer and dryer at discounted prices at Home Depot. The service rep explained the features of the machineses and the details of all the charges patiently. The products were delivered on time with good conditions as well. It was a pleasant purchase experience that we will consider Home Depot as the first choice for any appliance needed in the future.

The people working in the garden section was very help full. I told her my scenario and she gave a few options for me to choose from. I had some more questions for her afterwards but she was no where to be found. I notice this happens often at home depot, lack of staff. If there was more staff there, this would have been a 5 star rating, but to compensate, when you do get the help, they are very very professional.

Was difficult to find someone in the store who was available to help me and answer my questions. They all seemed to be busy helping other customers. Once I finally spoke with a staff member, they were able to explain the differences between the options I was looking at and arranged for the installation for me.

I purchased a Weber Q 220 from the Home Depot and was very happy with it. The only problem was that the automatic igniter doesn't always work when it's supposed to. The Home Depot staff were very friendly and helpful.

Home Depot is great when it comes to services. People are friendly, however one thing I notice is that different helpers have different expert suggestions on the same question. Therefore, my only comment is that there should be consistent answers for the same question with it comes to helping customers.

I couldn't decide which colour to buy for the exterior paint and the type of paint. The sales was very helpful in telling which type of paint is best suited for exterior wall. Since i couldnt' decid ewhich color or cannot imagine how it would look like, the sales suggest i buy a small quart to test it out before committing to buy the gallons...

Once we have looked at the display of the samples of the front doors, we have referred to Harvi-Home Depot representative/associate to help us out with a price it may cost us. Harvi, first of all, did not know how to find the code for the color we wanted, second of all, after multiple trials to get us an estimate, stated that it has to be done "manually". OK, we have asked him to do for us "manually", so we would have an idea if the chosen product is up to our financial means. However, after another 30 min of "our wasted time", Harvi still was not able to get for us an estimate. As a result, we have left very disappointed and tired. At the end, we have called to a Surrey store and we were able to get an estimate there.

We called home deport for water tank replacement. The tech was very professional. He finished the job in an hour, and kept our place clean. He also explained to us how to use and maintain the tank in details.

I found the pricing at Home Depot to be very competitive and for the most part lower than anyone else. It was challenging tring to find someone that could help me and anser my questions. Maybe they were short staffed? I would go back there because the price is right but the service is so so.
