Worst customer service ever

this is the worst customer service I have ever received from Raj (sales lady) of this company. She misrepresents and then is nasty about it.

I ordered a trundle bed from this company from the picture the lady showed me. This was urgently needed by me and I mentioned this to the lady. She was very accommodating at the time of sales and told me that it will be delivered on Monday, today (Aug 27th), around 3-4pm. Then she calls me at 9.59am. I return her call at 10.17am and she tells me that there is a delay it would be delivered between 6pm and 9pm.

I call again at 6.57pm and ask her and she says it will be around 9.00pm. The delivery arrives at at 10.15pm. I ask the gentleman if he would assemble and he says no he was asked to just deliver and not assemble and this late he could not do it and he would come tomorrow only but I would have to talk to the company.

I asked to speak with the lady and he handed me the phone. I told the lady that I was expecting to receive the bed assembled (as shown in the picture) which is what I was expecting. We are lay people and we have no idea that we were expected to assemble it. We have no idea how to do it and what tools are to be used to do this.

The lady was smart enough to tell me that delivery would be $25 then why did she not do her job and tell me that assembly would be extra? I was so desperate at that time due to my guests arrival that I would probably have agreed to the assembly charge too. But she did not and only told me about the delivery charge.

I have this bed now and I have no idea how to assemble it.

Also buyers beware. The lady wrote on my sales order copy that the sale is final before asking to sign the order. She did not talk to me about it. She just wrote on it. Is this normal procedure of the company? Why did she write it?

I want an explanation and an apology and assembly of the bed. A copy of this letter is also going to the Better Business Bureau. I am also going to send a copy of this to my Credit Card Company.

I need this bed assembled as soon as possible or this should be taken back immediately as the terms of our sales contract have not be fulfilled.
