Needed to install an under deck waterproofing system (so that water/rain doesn't go under the deck). It was a pleasure working with Steve. He took the time to work with us and discussed various options. In the end we went with the Zip-Up system. So far so good! Also can't say enough about Steve's two-man crew of Fredi and Ryan. Both were extremely professional, friendly and methodical - very pleased with their hard work!

Anyone looking to hire trades people to complete work around their home know just how difficult it is to find professionals that not only know their stuff but who also enjoy and take pride in their work. I feel very fortunate to have contacted Hickory Dickory Decks to improve the aesthetics of my second floor balcony. They not only made my balcony look stunning they also found and repaired a wood rot problem that could have resulted in a major issue had it been left undiscovered. It was a pleasure working with Geoff. He was very interested in what we wanted and made many recommendations. We had a very old deck that needed replacing. Our needs included getting as close to a maintenance free deck as possible. As the deck was in sunshine most of the day, we also wanted a deck that we would be able to sit on in our bare feet, and that our dog would be able to tolerate. Geoff gave us a number of options, and made sure we got what we needed (and we did). We also ran into some challenges when the old deck was removed. He and his team were able to creatively solve these issues, and the deck was completed on time and as promised.

product warped, cracked & chipped - warranties not honored on product or on labour - no meaningful follow up - had to redo the deck they built and second time around boards still warped and cracked and nothing was taken care of - horrible and expensive experience

We decided to redo our back yard deck. After going on Homestar's I found Hickory Dickory Decks Mississauga N/W . I met with Bob Robertson and decided to go with the composite upgrade deck material.
Bob and his team were just amazing. They explained every little detail as they were building. They were always on time and some of the workers would show up early. That never happens with renovations!
They were very professional and their work was meticulous. They took so much pride in their work. I highly recommend Bob and his team.
I only wish the summers were longer so I could sit outside longer.
I absolutely am thrilled with the final job. Just a quick note, they would stop their work for a second so my elderly dog could do her business in the backyard. So kind of them and much appreciated.
