Move

Thank you for the good service.
I am very pleased with the movers who came to help me moved. They were pleasant and courteous. They were very careful with moving and stacking the boxes to make sure all were well taken care of. It was a very pleasant experience.
I will recommend your company to my friends and my Real Estate Agent and her company.

Move from basement apt to seniors co-op

We were totally satisfied and impressed with Francis movers from the time we received our quote to the time we paid the bill. The quote was almost dead on....they came in a little under the quote. Movers were fantastic. Not a mark or scratch or damage on anything including the walls. All furniture was taken apart as needed and re-assembled and placed where we asked them to put it. I would highly recommend this mover to anyone. Everything was done in an extremely timely manner. Keep up the good work!

Good movers, poor management/customer service

Fairly unimpressed with this company, although I was referred by a friend who had a decent experience with Francis Movers. The actual movers themselves were quite helpful and polite. They worked very hard, however several items were damaged and furniture even went missing. Unfortunately the items damaged were family heirlooms - I thought everything was supposed to be wrapped and taken care of. When we reported the missing furniture to management, management denied everything, tried to put the blame on me, and even began to patronize me a bit - giving me the "well we've been in business longer than you've been alive" speech. A lesson in customer service would be well worth it. for this management team as their arrogance seems to be clouding their judgement.

Move from one-bedroom apartment to two-bedroom condo

Francis Movers was great. I had to reschedule my move date two weeks prior due to the renovation work on the condo not being completed on time and they were able to do it no problem. The movers showed up on time, were careful moving our furniture and finished the move quickly. They were courteous and friendly and I was very happy with the service they provided. They were also very affordable compared to some other moving companies. I would definitely use them again.

2 bedroom apt. to a 2 bedroom apt.

Not particularly happy with the service. We hired 4 men and truck - 3 out of the 4 men were exceptional. They worked tirelessly, were courteous and couldn’t do enough to help. The 4th gentleman, apparently the owner of the truck, spent most of his time complaining about the quantity of boxes, that his men needed frequent breaks, and that he was pretty sure we wouldn’t finish on time and would take longer. (Although we did have a lot of boxes, there was no bedroom furniture, the wall units were taken apart and the whole place completely packed and ready to move) If he had worked half as hard as the other three men, we’d have finished early. Unfortunately several of our items were damaged, including picture frames, a clock and our leather couch. It indicates every piece of furniture would be padded individually, even shrink wrapping would have helped our leather couch. Two boxes were lost containing irreplaceable family pictures. When we called we were told that ‘after all you had a lot of boxes’. I would assume this means you can expect to lose a percentage of boxes depending on the quantity being moved. How were the boxes lost when you move the contents to a truck, drive to a new location, and unload the contents of the truck into the new location? At what point would they be lost? They were not left behind as we still had access to our old residence. In addition, items were inadvertently left behind on the truck. It was when my husband called to find out if they had them (several days later) that he was told they were there. So, I would have to say that we would not use their services again.

One bedroom apt. on top two floors of townhouse moving to second floor of house.

It was a friend who recommended Francis Movers to me. I hate to move but I will say that this was the most comfortable relocation I have ever made. My guys (movers), Joe and Jimmy were very friendly, fast and efficient, Not one item was dropped and not a single mark left on my walls or door frames. I would absolutely recommend Francis Movers to others and in fact my buddy who helped said that when he moves, he will definitely use them.
The rates were incredible and which made the expense of moving a little easier to manage. I actually enjoyed giving my guys a little somethin, somethin for the fantastic job they did. Thanks guys.

Move from Richmond Hill to Brampton

We used Francis Movers several times, and most recently to move a 3-bedroom home from Richmond Hill to Brampton. We had 3 men and a 30 foot truck from about 9:30 to 4:30. The move went well. The men worked tirelessly and packed everything carefully. We had a couple of really large, heavy items that they had to deal with. There was no damage, and we were very satisfied with everything. We'll use them again, and would recommend them to anyone.

Have used many times

I have used this company many times in the past and have always been a very happy and satisfied customer. I've recommended them to friends and family. Things break when you're moving, it's a common fact, however *knock on wood* I've NEVER had anything break when I've used this company. They show up on time, they are quick and efficient and very reliable. Any future moving needs will definately be booked with them!
