Mimmo was very busy but when he came his employees did an awesome job cleaning our old grout in the walkway and regroutinfbthe entire area. I would be pleased to have them come back for another job

We had been putting off replacing our interlock driveway and doing a stone overlay on our poured concrete steps because it can be so difficult finding a contractor that is trustworthy and competent. We came to Mimmo based on a referral who was very happy with him and our experience was excellent as well. Very professional, very organized, great workmanship and no surprises. Mimmo took us through the planning stage with multiple home visits and the job started within the projected time frame. Mimmo and his crew arrived at 7:30am each morning, worked throughout the day regardless of the heat, kept a clean worksite, and they were done in 3 days. Mimmo and his crew were all very courteous, accommodating, and I could trust them to do a thorough job with no shortcuts without having to babysit the project. I've already referred him to 2 people and all neighbours have been very impressed with the finished project. I will be using him again for my backyard stone work project next year. Mimmo did an excellent job doing our back patio and front porch. The workmanship is excellent, with attention to detail in every step. Best of all, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. We found Mimmo on Homestars.com. After a short discussion he described what and how he would do the job and I realized he knew what he was talking about. He did and exemplary job that met and exceeded my expectations. Mimmo personally supervised the work and he personally updated me on progress. The job was done in shortest possible time. Mimmo is the rare contractor who is true to his word. He is punctual with appointments, returns phone calls immediately and does the work he agrees to do. The quality of the stonework showed outstanding craftsmanship. He and his crew - Andrew, Gaetano and Matthew - showed up daily by 7:30 am, worked incredibly hard and cleaned up at the end of every day. They were committed to the job until completion, with Mimmo working alongside them. Mimmo even fixed the gate, broken brick and downpipe (damaged before he came) without my asking.
There was an unexpected drainage issue that arose with the heavy rainfalls. Mimmo and his crew returned the next day to deal with it. You can count on Mimmo for a high quality finish and if there are any problems he will be there for you.

Mimmo displayed a great degree of patience in helping us make our final project decisions prior to the start of construction activities. Unlike other contractors we had contacted for our project, he was able to readily furnish us details of his liability insurance coverage which helped to demonstrate his ability as a reputable professional contractor.

Given our observed experience of other stonework contractors working in our neighbourhood which tended to overstay their welcome by extending their construction timetable, I was very skeptical when Mimmo estimated a 2-week construction period for our project. Sure to Mimmo’s word, our project was completed within that period with 1 day to spare. This included having to make-up for lost time of 2 cancelled workdays due to rain.

The work was completed much to our satisfaction, including some reasonably priced scope changes that were agreed upon during the project construction period. Mimmo and his crew were always very accommodating to all our questions and concerns throughout the project execution.

Mimmo and his hard-working crew just finished our 900 sq.ft. interlock/paved driveway and 250 sq. ft. walkways and curbing and we are very happy with the results. I was introduced to Mimmo by his lovely wife, Maria and she suggested that I read about Forever Stone Design on the HomeStars website. All the rave reviews are true! Mimmo and his team were professional, on time and on budget and completed the work in 4 days. I called Mimmo based on the Homestar ratings and fabulous reviews. I also called 6 other contractors and none of them seemed as knowledgeable or trustworthy as Mimmo. It was evident that Mimmo knew what he was talking about and he did not shy away from questions to explain whatever we did not understand. He was able to point out problem areas before and throughout demolition of previous steps, talking us through the areas requiring repair, showing us his work and explaining how he could fix issues so they would not reoccur in the future. Mimmo's crew worked long hours, alongside Mimmo, and were courteous and skilled. I have already recommended Mimmo to friends and we've been receiving many compliments on a job well done. Thank you to Mimmo and Maria, who was also integral in the communication phase about appointments, queries etc through email. Maria was prompt and very professional and understanding. If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be AMAZING. My experience with Mimmo has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had dealing with a contractor. Everything you read about him and his crew in these reviews is so true. Forever Stone Design really is exceptional and deserves all of these fabulous ratings they consistently receive.

I met with a few contractors when I was planning this project and from the first time I met with Mimmo I could see right away that he was different. There are people out there that are capable of laying down stone or planting some trees, but what differentiates Mimmo is his artistic approach to the design, his attention to detail, and his genuine care for your home as if it was his own. He is very proud of his work and this really shows through in his actions and in the final product.

We were very pleased with Mimmo and his crew. They were reliable, efficient, and well priced. They were also very pleasant to deal with, and did good work. They finished the flagstone repair and restoration on our front and side porch in 2 days and did a very nice job! Mimmo answered any questions we had promptly and knowledgeably.
