Household plumbing repairs

For those of you who don't like reading lengthy reviews, here is my short advice: If you need plumbing/gas fitting services and are considering hiring Easyflow (Giorgio) for service, you will be totally satisfied with the end result. Guaranteed.

If you are more detail-oriented and want particulars, then read on.

I had three specific plumbing tasks that I wanted addressed. A leaking shower control, a malfunctioning outside faucet and a cracked bathroom sink drain popup. Before starting anything, Giorgio asked for a walkthrough of the three issues to assess exactly what was needed. He then explained precisely what he planned to do and showed me the parts he planned to use. Where there were multiple options, I was able to choose which parts I wanted and made the most sense to me. He started with the outside faucet and replaced it in such a way that if there were ever an issue with it again, it can simply be unscrewed and replaced.

Next was the shower cartridge replacement. I have Delta fixtures and had contacted Delta to get the free replacement cartridge. Giorgio explained to me that there were several possible cartridges for the shower control and I may ( or may not) have the correct one. But, not to worry. In any event he had alternates in his truck, just in case. He also explained that sometimes, the set screw that holds the shower handle on gets stripped or seized, and in that case the handle has to be cut off.

Well, as in life, love and plumbing ,things don't always go as you wish they would. Yes, the set screw was buggered up and the handle had to be cut off. The most amazing thing to me was that Giorgio had anticipated this very thing and had brought the exact same replacement handle with him. Just in case. Genius!
(By the way, I did have the correct replacement cartridge.)

As for the bathroom sink popup drain, that was addressed with no drama whatsoever. If you want the drain closed, push down. To open, push again. My son loves it and pushes it up and down while he brushes his teeth just 'cuz he likes the sound it makes. Added bonus that he is entertained by the plumbing.

So I am ecstatic and have told family and friends that I have a great plumber. (With very fair prices too, but you probably don't care as much about that, do you?)

And now I am telling you, complete stranger folks. Stop stressing about your home repair and call Giorgio at Easyflow. And soon you will be happy, relieved and writing a review just like this one!
