Enercare doesn't allow consumers to cancel protection plans

Despite repeated calls and emails, they refuse to acknowledge the cancellation of my monthly plans for heating and cooling. They say emails can take up to two days for them to receive and want ME to call back to make sure they received it and refuse to call me back. Horrible, bureaucratic service!! Almost one year after my original call to them, and plan STILL not cancelled!!

Hi there - Similar to any contract, there are buyout fees associated with opting out of your plan early. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of your contract for more information.
