Permit for Home Furnace Never Done
Hello, I have a huge problem with your company and need assistance. I have been on the phone to your customer service department at 18662261700 5 times in the past week. Each time I was given promises of having my problem solved immediately and today called again and spoke with a gal who now tells me nothing has been arranged and I am going to have to pay for someone to come out and solve my problem.
Here is the issue: My mother placed an order for a furnace in 2005 and paid for it and it was installed.
At that time the person who sat with my mother in her house taking the order and the person who came into the house to do the installing of the furnace not once indicated that there needed to be a PERMIT!!!!!!!
Now we live in a townhouse and have been advised we need the PERMIT and that Direct Energy knows full well that a PERMIT must be done and approved by the city.
I have called and requested this to be done now and was promised by both a Maya who said she was a supervisor and a fellow John (who is above Maya in the corporate world) who called and confirmed Maya's promise.
So I called Maya yesterday June 23 2015 as I hadn’t heard back from her and was promised she would call me back, no call.
So I called again today and spoke with a Gwen who also advised me she was a supervisor and there was no one higher than her in the office, who advised me nothing has been done.
Now Gwen went on to tell me that I have to pay now for your companies error by having a technician come out to do the PERMIT that should have been done when the furnace was installed!
I need to speak with someone that can actually get this done for me ASAP!
