Just the worst billing system and customer support I've ever encountered
I have spent probably 30+ hours this year dealing with 7 and counting billing issues with Enercare. I co-own a rental property in Ottawa; the tenant pays for the hot water heater rental from Enercare, I pay for the furnace rental and plumbing protection plan. I can't even count how many times they've messed up the billing process, especially with the transition from Enbridge billing. And every time there's an issue, they say it'll take 1-2 billing cycles to investigate the issue, and then another 1-2 billing cycles to credit the account or refund they money they shouldn't have charged in the first place. At this point, they still owe me over $500 for double-billing my tenant for several months of furnace rental earlier this year, and now out of the blue they just started charging her again when they're already billing me for the furnace rental. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. I'm going to be buying out my rental contracts and cancelling their plumbing service. It's just not worth the headaches.
