Very similar story to previous review. Mark was a sub to Craig - owner of Evergreen, (which before we signed, he committed they don't use subs for the main work), and the project has been a disaster, with significant number of "Oakville stone" patio stones coming loose from the concrete, they substituted their preferred pool coping of inferior product, but attempted to charge more, the coping and patio stones are coming loose, within only a short few months, and they have essentially walked away from the job, not standing behind their work. Watch out of significant Undocumented, surprise Change Orders presented at the end of the job, empty promises throughout the job, and they caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages to our home and refuse to step up and reimburse accordingly. The result has been ongoing misrepresentations to avoid accountability. Upon raising concerns, they insult us and make outlandish claims to avoid being responsible. They have colluded on charges, and made all sorts of false claims that thousands of dollars in extra charges were all in the contract, when they were not, while specific items documented in the contract were paid for and never delivered. Short delivery on concrete, specified for certain thickness/quality not even close to what was delivered. They cut rebar in concrete towards house, causing significant damages to 8 large picture windows on house, as the sparks melted into the windows. Danica admitted the damages, only to have Craig renege on paying for damages. They constructed the patio so all water drains towards the house across the back, and down entire side of the house, and directed water towards new foundation/covered fireplace area, thus causing significant quality issues and loose stones, and ongoing threat of flood/water damages to our home. Didn't follow contractual obligations on drainage, pergola was built too small, damages to expensive gas fireplace, didn't cover anything while cutting, so dust caused damages to fireplace, pool, filled pool with dust, damaged pool cover, all sorts of problems. Demo'd driveway, used no protection for heavy machinery, ripped downspots from walls, needing replacement, and re-direction to accommodate drainage problems they created, and much, much more. Denies any damages yet the job epwas scheduled for 4-5 weeks, and it went over winter unfinished, with concrete seams, and patio stones undpsealed from the elements, causing all sorts of quality issues with loose stones popping off due to weather getting into unsealed areas. Just a disaster. And Craig spent zero time on the project except to change things for his benefit, and to collect money, or otherwise refuse to reimburse for damages. Took my money and ran, while at a time he stated to us his business was bleeding, losing money. Stay away from Evergreen, and Danica. They can't handle large jobs. Only good for minor landscape jobs. Worst experience ever!
