Thank you so much for the feedback! We are so sorry about not communicating the proper information regarding your filter replacement. 1) Humidifier filters are changed every year during the fall 2) Furnace filters- if it is 1" are change between one to three months, and if it is a 4" between 6 months to 1 year. 3) Regarding your furnace operation this should work the same as your previous furnace but if you do have any questions please call us at the office and we will be more than happy to assist you.
